the best!! – Wish you the best my friends!! i voted!!!
Great service, big menu, i would recommend to try the anticuchos hmmmm delicioso!! and the flan de cafe.
peruvian Food – I come here for lunch and some times for dinner, love the anticuchos, and the papa rellena, I voted for the best restaurant, good luck!!
Lots of choices!! – Take your time to go over the menu, it is pretty extensive! i loved the ceviche myxto, no tomatoes, and no onions. place looks small from the front but once you are inside is not bad, plus it has a patio.
I got the empanada with meat topped with the green hot sauce.... is not on the menu so check with the waiter, i saw the people next to us having it so i asked about it.
i will be back for more.
Chaufa – very flavorful arroz chaufa, i got mine with seafood, my friend got it vegetarian, not much different than mine, although mine had a lot of seafood on it.
Try the pionono, a simple thing but tasty.
Very Good Peruvian Food – I had the anticuchos, they were delicious. I can't believe how tender they were and how well seasoned. Also, definitely eat the Lomo Saltado. It is a delicious steak dish with french fries and rice. I also had a lamb dish called seco de cordero. I went there as part of a wedding party, the reception was held there. I don't eat seafood terribly often, so I can't vouch for the quality, however the people around me seemed satisfied. They did a very good job accommodating everyone and providing tasty food.
Peruvian Seafood – First time in getting the ceviche, WOW, is like a citrus seafood salad, marinated in lime juices and full of fresh seafood, no tomatoes, i dont like tomatoes, try also the Cau-Cau de mariscos, a dish made with peruvian spices and yellow peppers, ask for a hint of rocoto on it, i like my dish spicy, service is really good, suddenly you are surrounded by afew waiters who are bringing the bread, water, food, dessert.... so many people!!

Best Dining Experience! – We got to this place base on people's reviews, and yes, Ay AY Picante has the best CEVICHE in chicago, portions are huge and reasonable prices.
A tip: If you check in through FourSquare you can get a free dessert, any dessert, we did it and save a lot of $$
I enjoyed Yucca a la huancaina, which is a native dish from a city called Huancayo in peru. Brochetas de Lunahuana, which was jumbo pieces of shrimp were quiet delicious.
Kitchen is located in the middle of the room so you can see how quick they work to make your food, very impressive.
BYOB- no corkage fee
Inca Kola is a peruvian soda, make sure you get it with ice is very refreshing!!
Check the specials, they have a very extensive menu.
Good music, attentive staff, i will definitely go back to try more dishes
Ay Ay Picante Peruvian Seafood &Steak – The food is not autentic, the portions are very small the prices are very high for the low quality.I have my family there for lunch and it was a bad experience.I will not recomend this restaurant is a shame we dont have other choece for Peruvian food in Chicago ,the Peruvian cuisine is one of the best in the world.
great seafood – The place does not look like much on the outside, but once inside it is warm and friendly. I tried the filete al macho. It was so good. The shrimp sauce gave it a flavor so rich i can eat it every day. My waiter was also very cool. At the end of the meal he gave us a free flan. Word of warning, the green stuff on the table is not avocado. It is a spicy, very spicy hot sauce. I like it, but it is for those who handle fire in thier mouth
