Message to the owner, Instead of paying mass review writers, try to improve your business. One star is too much. The only consistent thing about Naan is terrible service every time. The owner does not speak a word of English so good luck complaining. The food is way overpriced for the quality. All three times I have been to this restaurant (Not by choice) ended up being a terrible experience. There are far better Sushi restaurants in the area to even spend a penny at this place, Never again.
All I will say is I agree with the others that Naan has horrible service. This was my first and last visit!
We went to the restaurant at 11 Pm and was not so busy, but we had to wait about 15 min just for the server to take our bevereges order,
when he took it, we had to wait more 10 min... so we start to pay atenttion how many people were working, and we found out that were only 2 people working pluss the sushi man...
So we were thinking that the problem was the manager, because what kind of manager puts only 2 people to work.
Well after all the waiting we finally made our order and guess what...
we wait about 35 min to eat... and when we ask for another kind of drink, the rude guy said ` The drink is gonna take a while because I am busy`...
I couldn`t believe in what I was listening what kind of server was that..
well after that we ate and I was hungry so I was looking for the server and I could not find him,
when I finally found him he passed througt my table and went outside for a cigarret.... UNBELIEVEBLE....
so he came to our table after the cigarret and start to take the plates and when I was about to ask for more food he just walk away...
after more waiting he came back and we ask for the bill, and after that terrible experience we had to pay 20% of tip. And I went to the closest MC Donald`s and the service was great and I didn`t have to tip the guy.
I have 3 years of Texas and I have never had a bad service like that.... the server was just amateur, rude and sarcastic....
the food was good but restaurant for me is like a combo,
everything walks together if the food is goog but the service is the worse I would never come back and for sure I will tell everyone that I know to not go in that place.
Terrible service. Rude and Amateur people.
Nasty! – Lunch at Naan - What a mistake I made thinking THIS was a sushi restaurant. Hostess never even offered seating at the sushi bar - should have suspected something right then and there. Our waiter had more visible tatoos than a yakuza hit man - a real faux pas in any Japanese restaurant - not to mention that he was unattentive and failed to clear dishes between courses or offer a refill on the horrible and horribly overpriced house sake. Bluefin tuna Nigiri at $10. for two pieces was off-tasting, fishy and had the flavor of beef just at the point of turning. Salmon was good - hard to screw-up a slice of salmon but the rice did not hold its' form and crumbled when soy sauce was added. The spicy tuna roll was about the thickness of a Macanudo with WAY too much sirachia and lacking balance due to the ommision of any mayo or avocado. We left five pieces - not worth the heartburn. If this is the best that Plano has to offer - as their self-congratulatory advertisements state, then you may have to take a trek to Sushi Sake. Worth the drive and you won't find the "Plano Cougar Roll" on the menu or ceviche or a hamburger...
worst sushi in dallas – Not a true sushi bar! Even had a cheesburger on the menu. We sat at the sushi bar and had an American with tattoos all up and down his arm.. Not to mention a $12 bottle of lukewarm sake. Then on top of this we had to look for the waiter about ten minutes to bring us the check. Oh, buy the way the sushi sucked! Not a repeat restaurant for us!
Worst experience ever!! Save your time and go somewhere else – You shouldn't come hungry to this place. You will wait for your order at least an hour, at dinner time on Sat.
We were party of 8 ( 4 couples) and therefore gratitude of 20% was included in our bill but the service was terrible.
We wanted separate checks and therefore they didn't put our order in time. Each couple got his food on different times even though they insisted that we are one table (1 groupon is allowed)
When we called the manager to check why the food is not coming at once, he argued with us that our order was complicated and took time. We expected the manager to apologize and make us feel better, but it was worst.
We decided that this place doesn't even worth a visit.
Finest Japanese Restaurant – Beyond AMAZING, AMAZING Sushi & Sashimi at Naan Sushi....
Brought clients for lunch and Sushi was great. Decent sashimi and the tuna tower was really nice.
We tried several of the rolls that were suggested by our servers VOLCANO,ROCKET, NAAN SPECIALS and each were excellent and prsentation was outstanding.
AMAZING Sushi best ever here. – I've been to NAAN Sushi several times and each experience has been amazing.

Warning!! - Worst experience ever – My family had the worst dining experience ever in Naan Sushi Japanese Restaurant. I purchased the $50 Groupon, and decided to use it for lunch after our church service on September 4, 2011. We presented the Groupon to the waitress and asked her whether we could use it at the time and she indicated it was o.k., she said that we just could not combine it with their happy hours offers, which was fine with us. When our bill came, we noticed we only received about $43 for the $50 credit. After inquiry, the manager told me it was because we used it for lunch than for dinner. But no where on the Groupon stated that it was not allowed or would only receive partial credit for lunch. Then the manager changed her reason, she said it was because we didn't make reservation. Before we went in, we were aware of the requirement for the reservation, that's why we asked the waitress before we ordered and she said it was all right. Also, they overcharged two of our dishes, when asked about this, the manager told us the menu was wrong. After our insistence, the manager corrected the credit to $50, but the overcharges were not corrected. After the Groupon, our bill came to $18.68. Because of their dishonesty and rude attitude, we decided not to leave any tip. We used our Mastercard to pay for this bill. Later I saw the charge of this visit was changed to $22.42 in our account. It was down right wrong and dishonest. The female manager didn't have any people skills and no professionalism and any courtesy. It was the worst ever for us.
Always best ever NAAN Sushi – We try sushi spots everywhere we go and none in this country compare to NAAN Sushi.
The variety and quality are second to none, try to have SMU roll, Ahi Tuna Tower, Volcano, you are very surprised again,,,,, Second to none .
For the best experience sit at the bar, close your eyes and try anything the master recommends, my bartender Levon made me my day,cool handsome, Good recommendation for SMU roll and Volcano both very good.
I should also mention that it's priced very reasonable at shops at legacy Plano. TOLD us great happy hour here...
