Most Unhappy Food Experience – I just went to Penne Pomodoro to have an early dinner with my boyfriend. We went there because the reviews said it was good. Only two out of seven are displayed by the way. When you first walk in the atmosphere is calm and inviting and it smells great, just like an Italian restauraunt should. Ny boyfriend and I ordered a cup of mushroom soup for starters, and we also got some bread wich is complimentary. The bread had a huge black, hairy mold spot on it. This is not good. So I push it aside and begin on my soup wich looks like grey chunky couscous floating around in some kind of cream sauce. I felt like I had swallowed a whole bottle of garlic salt. When the waiter finally came back we pointed out the bread, no apology, no nothing. Then my eggplant parmigan came out. It looked like It had been frozen then microwaved. When I ate it it was overcooked, chewy and definately not worth 14 dollars. the noodles were undercooked I was utterly dissapointed.

They have a nice open kitchen but despite the pictures you see in previous reviews there are no chefs there and no is in uniform. The cooks look like they are getting ready to go to a rock concert. No one smiles or barely talks to you, the service is poor and they were not busy. In fact we were the first ones there for dinner.

This is not an affordable place either. There were no dollar anythings. No deals like mentioned in the previous statements. My bill came out to 42.27 for moldy bread 2cups grainy soup and 2 small badly cooked meals( and that was supposedly a cheap meal)

I feel like I need to go to a clinic and get a lab analysis done.

Very AFFORDABLE! perfect for Kids or casual date – Weather they are naught or nice this holiday season, this is the perfect place for kids. I went with friends, and the kids there seemed to really enjoy the food and as a result did not seem to be loud and ?naughty?. I have come here with mine and have also come in with a date and all in all it?s a go! I mention other kids, because we all think ours are the best huh? ( big smile) Seriously, with or without, it?s good food, great pricing ( perfect for a budget night out) and great for all. Try it, you may like it !

This casual Italian bistro is a favorite for relaxed gatherings of friends or family. – In Short
This lively neighborhood restaurant offers dishes from the owner's Italian homeland. The colorful decor and open, airy dining area create a casual, relaxed vibe. Diners get a kick out of choosing from a list of sauces and pastas to create their own affordable dishes. Pizzas from the wood-burning oven are a highlight, along with sandwiches, salads, chicken and seafood entrees, and a number of tempting homemade desserts. The restaurant also serves brunch on Sundays.
