Founded in 1971 in Guatemala City, this family-dining franchise expanded into other Latin American countries before opening in Los Angeles in 2002. Today, the restaurant's signature chicken is gaining popularity in the United States as the chain continues to grow. The menu offers fried and rotisserie chicken, Camperitos made from 100-percent chicken breast, sandwiches, salads and sides like fries, coleslaw and spicy rice. For dessert, there's flan, rice pudding and soft ice cream.
:(. One day we visited this place because we had heard the chicken was excellent. We were sadly in for a rude awakening. The chicken has a weird spice on it and is difficult to tolerate. Its ironic that they make so much business. The dining room, if I can recall was also dirty. I will not be returning here.
