DIRTIEST place around! – We have been eyeing this place for a few weeks. With a bright yellow sign advertising lunch buffet, it was hard to ignore. When we walked in, hardly anybody was there. It just opened so we took that into consideration. We got the buffet. YUCK YUCK YUCK. No words to describe what they are playing off as food. Our fajitta meat was RAW and was just a slab of meat with grissle and folded over. This was not cooked all the way and not even cut up. the chicken had NO flavor. We had ro ask for tortillas, Every time in the past when we had fajittas in a place, they always had tortillas to go with it. Mom got a bowl of what she first thought was menudo due to the slivers of what she thought was the stomache. NO. It was slivers of fat in the beans. All the fat had risen to the top. GROSS. As we ate, we began to look around. All the windows in the place were extremely dirty and the mirror had finger prints all over. Then we also noticed a piece of the mop left behind on a leg of a chair. Obviously, the chairs do not get moved while cleaning at night. The doors to the kitchen opened up and that's when we got really discusted. DIRTY. The quencher to this all, I was giving my little 7 month old drinks of water from my water glass using my straw the entire time. I looked in my glass as I was drinking and there was a sugar ant floating in it. The food did not taste homemade. I have had better mexican tv dinners that this place. To top it off, my mother called the other location to complain. The manager of that location argued with her that the place was clean and he could see the survelience camera to prove it. He did not care they were serving raw undercooked meat. I do not see how this place can stay in business when there are plenty of other mexican food places that are MUCH better. I have been to this place years ago and it was good then. The quality of food has gone downhill greatly. I warn people to stay away or get sick like I did yesterday.
Very Good Food & Margaritas – Very good food & Margaritas at good prices. Generous servings and large shrimp. Nice people but could have come around one more time to ask if we needed anything. .
Great first experience - good food and drink! – We tried La Feria for the first time and were duly impressed. The food (Tamal Plate and Combination Plate) was very good, with excellent chili sauce and salsa. Their prices were very fair and the portions quite large. I would have liked the chips to be a bit lighter and maybe homemade (these were similar to Tostitos) to complement the excellent salsa (add a bit of salt).
The margaritas were also very good - and rather stout! - and didn't have that sour twang that so many of them have. The happy hour prices were fitting for the drink size, too.
As for service, the previous poster must have gone on a bad night, or caught someone having a bad day, because our service was excellent. Ariana was the waitress and she was very attentive toward us, and we're not the slightest bit Hispanic.
La Feria was a great experience and we will definitely return!
Tasty Ritas – Happy Hour under the palm trees sipping their perfect, not too sweet-nor too sour frozen margaritas is one of my favorite pastimes. Their food is yummy and the service is just fine. Try their chicken breast smothered with cheeses and mushrooms with charro beans. One major tsk tsk would be to clean the patio railing because it has a lot of old, dried bird poo along its entire length.
Great service and food – I'm suprised at the previous review. My family has been eating at this restaurant for years- we are not hispanic and that doesn't affect the service AT ALL. The breakfast is excellent- especially the huevos rancheros with carne guisada. Yum!
Worst service in town, definitely a racial and handicapped profiling restaurant – 1. Apparently you have to be hispanic to get service
2. My wife and brother who is disabled physically not mentally were not treated well by any means
3. Service staff were rude and discourtious to my wife and brother on mulitiple requests for service.
4. When service was received the staff only addressed my wife not my brother who is fully capable of speaking for himself.
5. My wife had to retrieve the receipt for the service her self since the wait staff would not bring it when requested.
6. To top it off the food was average.
