I brought in beautiful boots and shoes and tons of denim per their request. Nice stuff, Emu ($264), Nike Air Cole Haan boots ($348), nice polertec Merrell boots ($160) Levi's, American Eagle, to name a few. Their website states accessories so I brought in a new pair of Ray Bans, the girl told me they don't buy sunglasses, they use a private vender. WTH? They offered to buy TWO pair of the six WELL LOVED BRANDS ON THEIR SITE. They wanted to pay $30 for $500 worth of boots. Right? To boot, I was told 40 minutes, LITERALLY an hour and a half later NOTHING. Total waste of time. Ridiculous store, they make you stand like cattle for almost two hours to blow you off. I think I may need to make a call to a CEO.

Also, my stuff is like brand new practically and I'd post pictures if I could! PLUS their store is filled with cheap shoes...odd. Clearly their "buyer's" are not very intelligent.

Do not go here ! The girls were etremely rude and were talking about how I didn't bring my items in a bag. They didn't buy 1 thing and I had 20 pairs of forever 21 jeans and they said they were too old and I had some dresses I bought no more than 2 months ago they said were too old. Dumb.

The girls that work here are extremely rude. I went there for the first time today, after reading all of the bad reviews, thinking I might as well give it a shot. I really should've trusted the reviews and saved my time and feelings. I took in 2 bags of clothes which included a few pairs of Lucky brand jeans that had only been worn a few times (i had decided that I wasn't happy with the fit).. other items also , like hurley, volcom, express, and forever 21. Most of my items were super cute.. the jeans and forever 21 shirts were hardly worn if worn at all.

After I waited around for quite some time.. browsing the store and not seeing anything i liked... They told me that they didn't want to buy any of it. Telling me that they had "stains".. which they did not. Then she changed it to saying that they smelled bad. :-o Let me remind you that i hadn't even worn some of them.

She also changed her story from saying that it was one of the bags that smelled bad to both of the bags when I had asked what was wrong with the other bag. First she tried to say the jacket was a "cropped" style and when she saw that it wasn't.. then she smelled it and said "oh this smells bad too". I then grabbed the jacket and smelled it ... I said "I don't smell ANYTHING." and she's all "Well WE do!"

WOW! What a bitch. If you didn't want to buy them (which I still disagree with) then at least say that they're just not what you're looking for. You don't tell someone that their clothes stink. Especially when the story changed so many times. It was like she was trying to be offensive on purpose. I guess because we use perfume free detergent, and they didn't smell like carcinogens... who knows.

In closing,.. avoid this store. They are just plain rude.

Bad decisions in Westminster Location – It always use to be a favorite store of mine, until recently every time I took items in there they tell me they are out of style and no one in their right mind would wear my things. And the same thing for shoes. I would bring in brand new things, that were purchased with in a months time, and I didn't have tags or proper paper work to take back to original store. So I know they were hip and in style cause I just got them, not less than a month ago. This shop is always changing is rules as what they can and can not take. It upsets me, just because the owner of the store wants to look like a teen and be hip and trendy with the rest of them, she won't take anything not her style. You know, when I was a teen, I didn't and couldn't always wear what others did, and so it would be nice if there was actually a mixture of items in the shop, so not everyone walking out of there looked the same. SHEEP!!! baaaaaa! Just follow what the others are doing, don't try and be your own person. Open your eyes Westminster shop and make some exceptions, people would come back if you had a variety to offer.

I will never come back there again! never!

Editorial Review – This teen-conscious consignment shop buys and sells name brands at a discount, from Forever 21 to Skechers to Sean John to Diesel.

Horrible customer service – We arrived an hour and a half before closing, but the employees were unwilling to look at the clothes. They obviously weren't happy to be there and were annoyed even having to talk to us. Basically we had the same experience as the other reviewer.

horrible experience (wadsworth location) – I went to Platos to sell clothes which I have done many time before. I waited for two hours for someone to look at my stuff. I stood at the counter many time while the girls that worked there ignored me and the other customers. They were to busy gossiping to notice anyone. They were rude and I left very mad. I will never ever go back there and will spread the word about the horrible customer serive these girls have. If I was the manager of that store they would be instantly fired.
