LOVE IT! You must try them – We love "Got Sushi". We have been going since they opened. They have choices for everyone. Sushi, Tempan tables and a great menu. If you love sushi and your friends don't, they have lots to offer them. In the regular menu our favorite is the Korean Ribs. They are cross cut and marinated in a Yummy sauce!

The sushi is to die for. The portions are large, the fish is fresh and the roll choices are great. So many of their rolls have their own sauces-- no dipping in soy sauce is necessary. The Palm Springs roll, R & B, Crazy roll (spicy), it goes on and on! The sashimi is wonderful, you can get 1/2 portions to mix and match.

The staff is friendly and helpful. We go at least twice a month. You MUST experience "Got Sushi"!!!!!!!!!

Go back again and again... – Got Sushi is an authentic Japanese restaurant that is worthy of notice by anyone and everyone. They offer a variety of sushi rolls and several beef and chicken dishes. The portions I have seen are usually too big for any one person to consume, so that makes Got Sushi a good place to go if you don't mind sharing or if you like to have leftovers.

I visited the restaurant last week with my mom. It was relatively busy, but we were still greeted in a friendly manner and were guided to a table quickly. Since I do not eat sushi very often, I asked the waitress to make some recommendations. She patiently explained what each roll had in it, and especially recommended the Philly Roll (a recommendation that I second wholeheartedly).

Most lunch specials come with a side of miso soup and a salad topped with a tangy orange dressing. The main entree, presumably meant to be served to just one person, was more than enough for my mom and I. Even after we had eaten all we could, there were still leftovers. I ordered the Nin-Niku Steak, which featured several cuts of juicy steak, fresh garlic cloves, and soft onions cooked in olive oil served with a good amount of rice on the side.

Overall, this is a great restaurant. The only problem is that the prices are too high to make regular visits possible. Granted, it is worth every penny but in today's economy, spending ten to twenty dollars each visit is just not practical. If the prices were lowered a little bit, I could see going there a lot more often. Got Sushi is a great place to go for something different but not something necessarily cheap. The friendly staff, great atmosphere and ample amounts of food make an experience you'll want to repeat again and again.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE – I am very sad and frustrated I have to write this email. Please let me tell you about my experience at your restaurant. But first, let me tell you I eat out a lot, like every day.

I walked into your restaurant and it was empty, at noon. The lady at the register didn't look up or acknowledge I was standing there, so I started to grab the menus trying to find the lunch menu. She was busy recopying something from one paper to another. A young "waitress" walked up and asked if she could help me. I said I want to order something to go. I found the lunch combos and was deciding between the choices. I decided on the 12 piece sashimi lunch. I made mention that it sounded like a lot of food. The lady at the counter said something about it not being too much so I ordered the lunch. The "waitress" said you want 1/2 order? And I said a 1/2 order would be great. The lady at the counter said, tell them I said 1/2 order. She then told me with a 1/2 order I would not get a salad, it would come with 6 pieces of sashimi and rice. I paid $10 for the order and went outside. I walked back in and the lady at the counter said here is your order it has everything, ginger, wasabi and the soy sauce, it has everything. I left and came back to work.

I was shocked when I opened the container. Inside were six 1/3 sized portions of sashimi. I have eaten at your restaurant, and know the size portion tyipically provided. There was no rice, just strips of radich.

I called the restaurant back to speak to a manager and the lady who answered (I can only assume the lady at the counter), said manager not here, call back at six and hung up.

I sit here having paid $10 for a snack and am very hungry. Needless to say I will not be going to your restaurant again and will make sure I tell everybody I can about how awful the customer service and value are. I didn't ask for a 1/2 order, the waitress offered and then I was punished for taking her up on that offer.

Based on your customer service and the high expense, I am not at all surprised your restaurant remains empty in the middle of the lunch rush. I don't expect you will be around very much longer, especially considering Zushi is across the street and offers both outstanding customer service and value. I would agree your sushi is better, unfortunately I like to be treated like a human when paying an exhorbant amount for lunch.

CJ Roll – As you enter Got Sushi you are surrounded by warm dim lighting. They have a sushi bar and table seating. The restaurant is not very big but comfortable with spacious. The sushi roll I chose was the, CJ roll. It was lined a long decorated plate with blue floral designs. It is full of color consisting of: a white circle of rice stuffed with a plump off white shrimp, lined in dark green seaweed. The roll was topped off with a thin layer of pink tuna, drizzled with a sunset colored spicy mayonnaise, sprinkled with bright orange smelt eggs, and lime green onions. Everything combined stratifies the taste buds. It was spicy with a cooling sensation from the tuna. I feel that when dipped in soy sauce, the flavor was magnified. For such a good meal it is very inexpensive. The sushi roll is about a foot long for around eight dollars. All in all, it is healthy and filling

fantastic – We have tried so many sushi places and the first time we were very impressed with Got Sushi. We have been to Got Sushi many times, and every time is better than the last. Our favorite is the Crazy Roll, hot and spicy, yum. So many good rolls, too many to mention. We have never had a bad meal. The service is excellent and friendly, it's like being at home, a fun place.

Average Sushi – We have eaten here numerous times because it's close to where we live. The teppan yaki is good, but the sushi run from boring and bland to the fish not being fresh. The rolls are also very small, you can get larger ones at most other restaurants. The prices are average for sushi, but since they prepare smaller rolls, you're actually paying more. We have gotten to the point that we'll only go there for teppan yaki and will drive into Phoenix/Scottsdale to a better restaurant if we want sushi.
