Editorial Review by Citysearch Editors. Traditional dine-in or take-out Mexican restaurant offers tacos, burritos, chimichangas, enchiladas, tortas and nachos with beer and Jarritos sodas.
Great find!. This place is a great find if you're in the mood for some traditional mexican fare. The place is small, but very clean and comforting. The menu varies wildly, seemingly dependant upon the chef's whim and what ingredients are available. It boasts a pretty sizeable menu, but chance are only 75% is available at any one time. Neverthess, the standbys of burritos, tacos, etc are always there. If you have the opportunity, I highly recommend getting something from the specialty list and enjoying it in the restaurant, rather than grabbing it to go. The chile verde is exceptional, as is the mole. All in all, deinfately one of the best places in St. Johns, and one of the best mexican places in the greater Portland Metro area.
Mui Bueno!. As a Portland metro native I have tasted several mexican restaurants in the area, and find myself going back to Ole Ole again and again. With its quaint independent feel you get not only large quantities of excellent food including their giant burritos, but smiling friendly service all at an affordable price. I also find the frequent attendance of mexican people eating there as a good indicator of some good authentic eats! Ole Ole is worth the trip!
