Best Wine Tasting in Town. The $10 per person wine tasting on Friday and Saturday nights are truly amazing. Great wines, very knowledgeable sommelier. and great fun. Bonus: since you are in the market after the 1 hour wine tasting you can go right to dinner at the Pink Door, drinks at Kells or a concert at the Showbox!

Kudos to the interesting variety of yummy treats imported from Italy, such as the super yummy truffle oils and truffle creams, oils, imported pastas and cheese stuffed peppers, wow, where do I stop. This place will make your dinner table special.

Phenominal Experience. My husband and I had heard great things about this shop but had no idea what an amazing experience we were going to have. My hubby - the beer king - even found a wine he enjoyed and the education we received about wines, food pairing and Italy was amazing. Their specialty food products paired with the fresh produce and seafood of the market would make the most incredible meal. This was, by far, the most amazing part of our anniversary weekend. I cannot recommend this enough.

Amazing, Knowledgeable, Friendly Staff. I took some out-of town friends down to the Market (who doesn't?) and we happened to pop into the Truffle Cafe. Our staff member was AMAZING. He explained far too much about truffles, cooking, wines, and even vinegars (who knew there was so much to learn?) and accommodated us for over an hour with patience and enthusiasm. What an amazing experience.

It's far too rare that you find a place with a great product line and such a great staff. This place is a genuine treat in a very touristy area. There are plenty of samples--wines, bread, truffle oils, soups, etc. and and wealth of information to be shared here.
