Watch out if you plan to work for this place. The owner is very unclear on what you'll being doing as well as feedback on how you're working out. There really isn't any training y,you are thrown to the wolves. If you stumble, she just won't call you anymore and then file that she fired you. Not very professional.

Sweet Jesus!!! A Palate explosion with evey bite! – I have been going to "Silk Thai Cafe" since it opened... about 5 years. I have had most everything on the menu over this time. To this day I have not had one bad or even marginal meal. Thus finding it difficult to pin point a favorite entree of mine. The produce is ALWAYS FRESH and the food is always cooked to perfection and ALWAYS consistant.

Sookie the owner always acknowledge's me and every who comes through the door. The enviorment is welcoming, warm and beautiful. It is extreamly CLEAN and dust free. The prices are extremely reasonalable and the portions are more than fair for what you pay. The wait staff is impecable with thier customer service and professionalism from beginning to end. I never have to wait long to be seated or for my food, unless it's packed. Which I must say happens more often that not these days. But what do you expect with such good food and great service?

What impressed me the most on tonights visit is what I call going ABOVE and BEYOND. Eric a new team member to "Silk Thai" (he's easy on the eyes to I might add) took my order and told me it was no longer on the menu. I asked Sookie what it was called and she told me that it was the "Seafood Salad" and if that is what I wanted I would get it. I did not even ask them to make it. THEY OFFERED!!! It is almost unheard of to have that type of unexpected accomdiation. I dont know about you, but I concider that stellar sevice.

I am a commited client to "Silk Thai" as a result of evrything you just read. I hope you give it a try. Your in for a real Treat!!! Beware, you may find yourself in the same position I am -- Happy and full!

Silk Thai review – I have been to Indochine and I think that Silk Thai is much better. The food is straight forward and spiced just right. The spicy green beans with chicken was wonderful and their summer rolls are the best. Everything is so fresh. Give it a try. You won't be disappointed.

Thai food at its best!! – Nestled among other restaurants on the Sixth Avenue strip is one that should not be overlooked. The Silk Thai Cafe has a diverse menu but our favorites include "Jumping Prawn Salad" a delicious blend of fresh fruits, crisp greens, nuts, succulent shrimp and a tangy dressing; or the the regular "House Salad" is huge and not to be overlooked which includes a more than generous serving of chicken (shrimp or beef if you prefer), greens, fresh crisp shredded veggies, ample basil and a pungent dressing; or if you are in the mood for something hot, try "Garlic Chicken" or "Mixed Vegetables with Chicken" be sure to try their wonderful coconut rice on the side. We eat at the Silk Thai at least 5 or 6 times a month and would go there more often if we lived closer. This is a highly recommended spot for great Thai food!!!
