Wonderful experience. Been with AirSpeed since 2005. Recently upgraded to 3Mb package and have no issues streaming or working from home. Got bit once by satellite internet providers never again. Wireless is the way to go.
AIRCRAP! Awful, inept, poor customer service! Customer since 2007 and owner does not care why they lost my business. Getting a definitive answer (when will you come back to fix this) is like pulling teeth. Uggggg! Speeds nowhere near promised and way over priced.AT&T ELEVATE HOTSPOT IS THE ANSWER-FASTER AND CHEAPER AND BETTER CUSTOMER SERVICE
Been with them a couple years. Hi price and slow speeds. Lost internet last saturday and called there after hour number all evening and all of sunday and no one picked up. Called the office Monday mourning and the guy sounded like he had party hard over the weekend which is why I probably didn't get a call back. Awe to be young again! He said he would take a look and whats going on and call me right back. Well about an hour or so went by so I called him back and he tells me he just fixed the problem. Hmm Ok. Call back would have been nice. I asked why I got no call back over the weekend and what assurance I have that I will get a call back in the future and he had no answer for me. I told him to have someone call me that could give me an answer. Few minuets later I get a call from another young guy tells me what was wrong with my connection but had no answer for the no call back. Told him my daughter had to go to McDonald's (Free WiFi) to send her lab report that was due by sunday 5 PM. He Was trying hard to contain his laughter. Yea I suppose if I were in his shoes it would be kind of funny. Well I can appreciate how he was covering for his buddy but it was a bummer not having any internet over the weekend. Not reliable service so far.
Solid Support – Someone talking about Verizon support, you have to be kiddng me. I have never had a problem reaching anyone at Airspeed. Now, their service is mainly line of sight, so I know some people try to battle the trees and weather and have mixed results. It either works or it does not. Support is terrific however, and one of the techs gave me his phone number when I first signed up. It is a local outfit, so you will actually know the people you are working with. My speed is adequate coming from Verizon FIOS, but is still superior to satellite as well as far cheaper. If their was a line to my house (DSL, FIOS, whatever), it would be hard to beat a land line, but if you do not have that option, AirSpeed is hard to beat.
By the way, when I did kill my FIOS sevice when I moved, it took me 12 times to reach someone who could get me my boxes to return my equipment. I wasdropped several times making that long phone trip to India and back. Verizon, Comcast, AT&T are perhaps the worst companies to work with.
Terrible Service – My husband and I have had nothing but problems with Airspeed. The connection rarely works. When it does it doesn't last long. Their technical support doesn't seem understand their own technology. We have had several technicians to our house and each technician tells a different story as to what is wrong. We are changing over to wireless broadband instead which is much more stable.
Great business idea and friendly people, but ... – need to improve speed and reliability of internet connection. Also, tech support appears to be understaffed, so is very slow to respond to setup and connectivity isues .
