Awful service, flat beer, and horrible pizza – I have never paid so much for horrible service and food. We were there for a total of 3 hours. In that time span we saw our waitress a grand total of three times. When we did see her, she reeked of smoke and was EXTREMELY rude. We chose to eat in the dinning room and boy were we disssapointed. The dinning room was so cramped! The place is awkwardly designed and very, very dirty. It took nearly an hour and a half to place our order. We saw our waitress when we originally sat down and then well, she just dissappeared. It was strange, she wasn't seen in the dinning room at all. But like I mentioned before, she was probably outside enjoying an entire carton of smokes. While she was away, we ordered a pitcher of beer through another server. Well, while we waited for our M.I.A. waitress, we enjoyed the flattest pitcher of bud light we both had ever had. It was so awful that after one, I just couldn't drink anymore. After an hour and a half, we stopped the bus boy and asked him to go find our server (the only thing keeping us there was playoff football on the television). Ten minutes later... ta da! The dissapperaing waitress re-appeared. Took our order and... vanished again. An hour later and after watching everyone around us enjoying our food... ta da! Thats right the mysterious dissappearing waitress re-appeared! This time with our wings and pizza. It looked and tasted, like it had been sitting out under a damn heat lamp. The wings flavor weren't bad bad but they were reheated in the microwave for sure. The pizza was the worst pizza I have ever had. I've eaten pizza from here to New York and I can officially tell you, this is the WORST PIZZA IN THE US. The pizza was way over cooked or reheated. The cheeese on top was so thin that well, it was more of a sauce pizza. The dough was really disgusting and hard. We ate a little and couldn't take anymore. We flagged the bus boy down again and asked him to travel into the "abyss" and find our waitress. I mentioned to him how awful our waitress was and about her dissappearing act. The bus boy came with our bill. After about five minutes... she re-appeared. This time with my card and receipt. This woman stood over my shoulder watching and waiting for me to sign the bill and tip her. I turned around and asked her to come back later. Apparently, she was a little worried she wasn't going to get a tip! Well, we paid our tab and left the smallest tip I have EVER left. Summed up... I WILL NEVER RETURN! The place is dump, their service is the worst I have ever experienced, the pizza is disgusting, and their beer is extremeley flat. However, they have a great bus boy working Saturday night.

The Worst Service I Have Ever Experienced Anywhere in the Country! No Lie! – On a whim, my three friends and I decided to dine out at the Native New Yorker in Avondale (between the Red Robin and Harkins Theater). Big mistake. The service was the absolute worst Ive ever experienced in any restaurant from Phoenix to Chicago... and that's saying something. To start off, the booth seats were wet from just being wiped down, and smelled musty. Took 15 minutes for the waiter to arrive. We ordered Cokes (which they forgot about). Took 20 additional minutes for our drinks to arrive. They forgot my friend's Jack and Coke (didn't bring it until after the meal had arrived). And not only did we not have enough silverware, the utensils were dirty, with dried chunks of food stuck on the spoons. We ordered appetizers (garlic bread and salads, which, again, they forgot about). My friend's wife ordered a baked potato, and it was served uncut, in aluminum foil, without butter or sour cream. And it gets worse. I ordered a calzone which was small, flat, and way too dry. My friend who ordered the Jack and Coke (which he still did not have by this point), ordered chicken wings, but didn't receive any dipping sauce or moist towelettes for his fingers. The wait staff vanished again and no one seemed concerned with refilling our drinks. The water tasted like chlorine, and there were French fries littered about on the floor next to our booth, which passerby s repeatedly ground into the carpet. Disgusting. Finally the manager approached us and apologized for the service, and offered us a free round of drinks, a Jack and Coke for my friend, and free dessert. Shortly thereafter, the bill arrived, and low and behold, they charged us for EVERYTHING! Two Jack and Cokes $14.00, dessert for 4 $6.95 each, the appetizer we never received ($8.95 cheesy garlic bread WITH NO GARLIC, it was just TOAST WITH processed cheese on it). After a bit of arguing, they removed the items from our bill, but didn't agree to comp the meal. Unbelievable. Do not eat here!
