So Pleasantly Surprised!!!. Upon moving to Leschi three years ago, my only regret was that there were not more restaurants in the area. When Bluwater Leschi opened, I was excited to have another option. They've now been open over a year, and I love it! They've done a wonderful renovation of what used to be the Leschi Cafe. The interior is beautiful, , the view perfect, and the food and service really can't be beat. To top it off, prices are cheap! Most who work there seem to have been there from day one, and not only remember my name, but also what I like and drink, and even new specials they think I might enjoy. The bar has outdoor seating that is heated year-round, and a great patio perfect for eating and in the summer. Food is sooo good, and the portions are HUGE. Great Place!
You have to check out this place.... My friend and I went in for a late Easter dinner and had an awesome time. We sat on the couches in front of the fire, watched basketball clips on their tv and had great food. our server, carmen, was awesome, will definitely be back to Bluwater Leschi!
locals. Great neighborhood bar for locals and people who live in the area. Food is good and the service is great. You can have a conversation or watch a game on the one of the plasma tv's. Ethan, Alexia, and Dave are great bartenders and will also make you smile. The rest of the staff is friendly and always have a smile. One of the nice secrets in town.
Spagetti w/ a view? YES. My 1st visit was a Sun afternoon after cycling. We enjoyed mojitos at the bar. While a bit pricey, they were very good and the bartenders were nice. When we asked about the menu, they raved about the spagetti-&-meatballs...which lit a flame in my stomach. I just returned from my 2nd visit...2 months later, and had the spagetti. YUM YUM! WOW. Sat eve, arrived at 7, seated immediatelyin a window booth, great service. Restaurant floors and the bathroom was a bit untidy. Ambience is awesome near the fireplace at night or open-air bar by day.
Made my ears hurt!. We requested outdoor seating and were led to our table right next to the bussing station. At first it didn't seem so bad until they started throwing the plates in the bins. It was so loud it made our ears hurt. There were MANY other tables available so we asked to be moved. They appeared to be very put out at this request. As soon as we were re-seated, they placed someone else at this bad table.
