great! – We had started off the night at the Rio Grande across the sidewalk. It was so awful that we sent our food back and left. Still starving, and now freezing, we went into this sushi joint. Great Halibut, great snow roll, good Phili roll. We also tried the sake (I personally don't like it but its not the restaurant's fault). Great service, great sushi - We live out of town and we will definitely make the drive to eat here! Staff knows the menu and knows how to recommend things. Not a fancy place, but has tons of charm! I would recommend this for a date! There was a large mix in the people eating there too. There was a family with good kids, a business man eating alone, a married couple, a couple on a first date...It was a very charming place.
Making Sushi Fun – Not sure what the 7.2 rating is all about but thats just not right. Of all the sushi joints in the area, this one always has the freshes seafood. The Sushi Chefs are creative and if you ask them to suprise you, they certainly will. If you are a returning customer you can get a pine saki cup, decorate it and they will put it on the wall for you for the next time you come back. And if you are feeling really crazy, order some Saki Bombs, somethimes the wait staff will join in with you but dont try to drink more than them, they have more stamina than a salior.
This Lone Tree sushi spot offers the perfect opportunity for catching fresh fish before a flick at nearby theaters. – In Short
Situated directly in front of the United Artists Meadows 12 Theatre, this casual restaurant makes a nice choice for dinner (or lunch) and a movie. The small restaurant features an eight-seat sushi bar and a centrally located fish tank. All entrees arrive with soup, salad and crisply steamed vegetables. A finely sliced rib eye benefits from an excellent "secret" brown sauce. As for sushi, the baked volcano roll--bubbling cream cheese, salmon and avocado--is popular.
