My girlfriend and I went to Starbucks like most other nights and got a couple of drinks. We were about to drive off but it was so nice outside that we went for a 10 minute walk down the road and back.
When we got back my car had been booted by the security company for that Starbucks. I explained we went for a 10 minute walk and what would the difference be if we sat inside for 10 minutes. The guy refused to remove the boot and kept saying we left the parking lot. There were no other cars in the lot because the store closed at 10, so this was completely unreasonable.
I tried to get the employees inside to print the receipt showing the time but they would not help the situation. I had to pay $50 to get it removed, and that was soooooooo wrong.
Way to give the big "FU" to what was a loyal customer. I will never spend another dollar at Starbucks again
The worst starbucks store in the world – Stay away from this store as long as you are not ready to pay $51.49 for a cup of toll coffee. The property owner will put an immobilization device on your car if you don't leave the parking lot within 15 minutes even though you are still in the store. Class action lawsuit is around the corner.
STAY AWAY! Or get Booted! – I agree with the first reviewer. I was a paying customer; Coffee is great, but linger too long, and you'll get booted by a confronting jerk, who wrongfully will boot your vehicle. EPS is the booting company, and deserves losing business. Go find a local petition to get them "booted" out. Tell the owner of Starbucks (this location).
Good day gone bad – The coffee was just as good as any other Starbucks. The customer service was sub par & the enthusiasm of the employee offering free samples was a bit lacking. So much so that I had to decline, even though it was free, because of the way the unappetizing offer was droned away at me. The filth on the bottom of the display table near the entrance was also bit of a turn off as well (some kind of creeping water damaged, moldy, & mildewed darkness).
Beware of staying inside too long without keeping an eye on your vehicle. I was inside drinking my coffee & reading a book for about a half hour. When I left store I discovered that I had been booted by a guy that had been lurking by the side of the building just waiting for people to pull into the lot. Even though I had never left the building for those 30 minutes, he claimed that I left the lot & that was cause for the booting. He refused to take it off & demanded to be paid before he would remove the boot & threatened to have my car towed if I refused! I will never go to this location again & wouldn’t recommend it… unless you have an extra $50 that you just don’t know what to do with!
Seattle-based coffee chain lures caffeine addicts with upscale roasts, caramel frappuccinos, shaken iced teas and an extra shot of trendiness. – In Short
For many, getting their daily jolt of java has become a daily morning ritual, and the cardboard cup with its infamous green label is the close companion of every coffee aficionado. Busy baristas work seamlessly behind the bar, juggling orders for their strongly-brewed drips and signature hot and cool beverages. While providing a wide selection of coffee specialties, pastries and various coffee related goods, patrons are invited to settle down in comfy armchairs and enjoy their favorite brews amid the chatter of the laidback yet caffeinated crowd.
