Great repair shop for Bose wave radio repair. Bose quoted me 250.00 and they did it here for 150 to fix my CD player.
I brought my sewing/embroidery machine here to be repaired. I was charged a $250 diagnostics fee, and was told they would do work up to that amount and call me if it went higher. I was told it would take 7-10 days. After 2 weeks, on a Saturday afternoon, they called and said it would be another $250 to completely fix it. Desperate to have my machine back (I use it for my business!), I agreed. First thing Monday morning they called and said it was ready to pick up. Really? You just called me Saturday afternoon and said it was going to be $250 more, they are closed on Sundays. This means I was charged $250 for LESS THAN AN AFTERNOON's worth of work! I picked it up Monday evening, and the case was all dirty, they didn't even wipe it down from the mess in their store. The machine is now not cutting threads, which is was doing perfectly fine before I brought it in. I won't dare bring it back there, even under warranty, in fear I'll just get screwed with a ridiculous unjustified cost and come back again with a machine that they messed something up on. DON'T GO HERE.
HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE HORRIBLE!! Do not give this shop any business! Like many other reviewers, I was told a price to examine two amplifiers and included in that price was the estimated repair costs. I was told about 90% of the time these estimates are correct. After waiting four times longer than promised, I called and waited even longer to hear that the repairs would cost almost twice what I had already paid!! I went to pick up my amplifiers, but could not because they were apart, and would have to be put back together. While there, another customer was concered about what he was charged for a cleaning of some equipment and was told there is no rate for examining and cleaning, they just charge a number with no justification. I was told several different stories, why the cost was so much. One of them was that two capacitors were required. However, they wanted to charge me more than the amplifier cost new for those two capacitors! I feel like they make up numbers, and charge people randomly.
Like several other reviewers, I feel this business gets you in the door and then does not deliver!
I generally don't provide feedback, but I think I've paid $35 (unnecessarily) for this grand opportunity.
The Situation: I needed a specific part for a turntable repair; I told them what the problem was and the part required. The Service Rep. asked if I wanted them to put the part in, or just pay for the part and do it myself. I asked how much? He said it would be $35 to put in. If it cost any more than that, or if they found other issues, they would call in advance.
After 3 weeks, they said it was ordered. Then they said they could not locate the part. Hmmm ??? Which one is it?
After all, I was still charged $35 for the diagnostic? I thought the part was on order and, by the way, didn't "I tell them" what the problem was...? (as I scratch my head)
O.k. - I have another one even better. While my turntable part was "on order", I found was interested in an out of the box TV (on display). I hadn't gotten rid of my old one yet, but the rep. was "great" and it seemed like a good deal. Guess what, I asked him if he gets paid by commission, so I agreed to put $200 down to hold the unit until I came back to purchase (of course once the turntable part was installed).
Later that evening I did a simple web search and found a better unit for $300 or so less. I called immediately the next day to let the rep know what I found, and requested my deposit returned. I knew the quality of what I found was much better for much less.
After multiple phone conversations over a few days they agreed to return my deposit. Although they seem to all be nice guys, it amazed me as to how they wanted to charge me 20% to return "my deposit" ... HMMM???! (throwing my hands up!)
WELL, I guess I should just be glad "THEY DID ME A FAVOR" and didn't charge me to return MY deposit.
The policies this business has are very poor, and not communicating during the exchange of business.
Not saying this is bad business, (if your accustom to be economically victimized) but maybe I should have checked the BBB rating before I considered AAAA - Oh well, good luck to all economic hostages as we search for businesses that operate with integrity :)
Buyer beware on this company, no refunds- it will be printed at the bottom of your receipt and not mentioned at any other time! Also no price guarantee after purchase- just plain stuck ended up losing about $150 bucks- shop elsewhere!
BBB Rating of F !!!!! Dishonest business, horrible customer service, and just plan rude. Every word said by everyone at AAAA Teva turned out to be complete lies. Our TV died, so I called AAAA Teva they said that they would come out and look at it. They said that 75% of the TVs can be repaired in-home, without taking them into the shop. This was obviously a lie because the technician that came to our house had nothing more then a drill and meter, no kind tools on his person nor in the truck capable of fixing a TV. After taking the cover off the TV the guy said it needed a good cleaning and there was one obvious trouble point, a terminal that had grey goo coming out of it. He said it would be $125 which included diagnostics, cleaning, resetting the goo terminal, and return delivery of the TV. He said the only way that it would cost more was if they had to order additional parts. We paid him and he said the work up would be done in 3 days. 10 days later and after a couple of calls, we finally heard back from them and I was told they have not yet fixed it and it would cost $350 more to do a more thorough cleaning. I wouldn’t stand for it because there was no need for parts and the cleaning was suppose to be what we already paid for. So I wanted to talk to the manager and no employee there could tell me the name of their manager. After several calls and actually being hung up on several times, I went on line and did some research. I found out through the BBB that the owners name is Mr. Muhammed Murib. I finally got ahold of Mr. Murib and it turns out that he was the person I was talking to previously, the owner himself was lying to me! So, I said that I wanted them to bring my TV back to me without any further repairs and they would not, as they had agreed too, they said I had to come get it. My wife went in to get it, they made her sit around for 20 minutes before getting the TV. When they finally turned over the TV, they would not even help her carry it to the car!!! My wife is 105 pounds and she had to carry a 40 inch TV to the car by herself while 3 guys sat around the shop watching TV. What a bunch of horrible people and what a horrible business. The kicker is that when we got the TV home it worked. They were just trying to tack on another $350 because it was an easy fix (the terminal with goo coming out of it). Stay away for obvious reasons!
Best local TV store bar none – finally a place that does business the right way. i hate dealing with those big box stores where it takes an hour just to get someone to help you.
I bought a TV here after looking at sears and bestbuy. I spent weeks looking and in one stop at this store they helped me find the best tv for the best price. i bought a realy nice Samsung LED LCD tv that has all the features and paid $100 less than the big box stores.
I called comcast to come out and set up the cable and the guy spent 2 hours and then blamed it on the TV said it needed an update.
I called AAAA back and they had someone out the same afternoon he reconnected the tv the RIGHT way moved my older tv and made sure i was totally satisfied thank you so much guys.
Great business comes from Exceptionally Great Customers Thnx – I am the store manager and i would like to thank all of our customers that have taken the time to leave great feedback.
We can only be great if our customers let us provide them with great service and options for their home service needs and purchses.
Best TV Purchase experience in a while on a Panasonic – I had these guys repair my bedroom TV not too long ago and they did a great job, i remembered they sold TV's as well so i thought id check them out.
I shopped around for days to buy a New 65" Panasonic, i even went to Ultimate but these guys were ab;e to answer all my questions, they are local and they beat both big box store prices for me and provided the extended warranty and delivery for me... Thanks guys for saving me close to $500 from the other guys...
Singer was 80 Years Old Now NEW – Excellent even after the reveiews.
I will admit i read the reveiws here and was quite skeptical, but i always like making my own decisions about who i deal with. Especially because i called around and everyone seems to do the same thing so i went with the closest out of the bunch.
I took my unit in and talked to the service manager and explained my problem on my sewing machine about how it was bunching up on the thread, the gears seemed jammed and the lever would not turn.
I came in and was explained to in detail what the process would be and paid the diagnostic. 2 days later i picked up my machine which was repaired and sparkling like new. I am so happy to restart my quilting project. Thank you guys thank you for the helpful oiling and cleaning tips as well as the guarantee you offered.
My Singer machine has been handed down from one mother to another for the past 3 generations.
