Tips for Pizza Orgasmica & Brewing Co

If you have the time to spare.... I've been a frequent visitor to Pizza Orgasmica because I love their thin crust and sauce (it has a hint of spice) and the lunch special, $9.95 for a personal pizza, salad and a drink. However, I am used to waiting for my food- the service here is guaranteed to be slow. Coming here on game nights can be a fun experience chanting with other fans, but at the same time it once took about an hour just to get a salad I had ordered. Still, the ambiance is great: double date on the pillow seats is always a good time.

Terrible. Really bad pizza, and overpriced to boot. I had it once 6 months ago, and didn't like it. Just tried it again, thinking maybe the first time was a fluke. Nope. I ate a slice and a half and threw the rest away. They try to be hip by offerring unusual toppings, and by giving their pizza's provocative names, but this garbage is barely on par with Domino's, and costs 3 times as much. They need to spend less time on marketing gimmicks (their motto, "We never fake it", what a joke), and spend more time actually figuring out how to make a decent pizza.

DELIVERY REVIEW: They NEVER delivered the food!. Here's why:

I called this location and placed an order. I gave them my address and cross street. They told me it would take an hour. Instead of the pizza my friends and I were waiting for, I did receive a phone call OVER AN HOUR after I placed my order to tell me that they don't deliver to me.

The idiot who called me even told me they made the food and it was just sitting there and she wondered why. Apparently they made the food, and because I lived a little too far away, they decided not to deliver it--WITHOUT INFORMING ME. What kind of business just throws money down the toilet?

So when you want to order delivery, be warned, these people are EXTREMELY STUPID. Be sure to ask if you are in their delivery area and have them check with someone titled the "delivery manager" because the person answering the phone won't know and won't care enough to find out, even after your food is made and it's been sitting there waiting for delivery.

The kicker? There is another location near me that I did not know about. They told me that I should call and order from them, after already making my food and after a delay of over an hour. Yeah, great idea, I'll call and wait another hour and they'll call me back and tell me they ran out of cheese or something.

Here's my question, I live at Divis and Eddy. Is that really too far away just to deliver something that they already made? I mean it's not like the delivery guy is gonna get vaporized if they pass Stanyan or whatever the hell their delivery limit is.

Stupid, stupid people. If they put this much care into their customer service, I wonder about the food.

I will never call these people again. I hear the pizza's good, though.

How does this place stay in business?. The distinct overwhelming odor of cleaning fluid fills the room and I can't help but wonder if this pizza would taste better with a big douse of it. Neither the waitstaff nor the food charms me. Maybe the tourists keep it going?

Poor service for overprized pizza. I have been ordering from Pizza Orgasmica a couple times and have also been to their restaurant. Both experiences were fairly bad based on their poor delivery and in-house service. I had two instances where I have been waiting for over 2(!) hours to get my pizza delivered, even though I live only 6 blocks away from them. When I gave up on delivery and tried to actually visit their restaurant I was also very disappointed. I had to wait for a long time to get attention of my server, the drinks were delivered after the pizza arrived and to pay my bill I had to wait yet another 15 minutes. I would not recommend this place based on the poor service and the fact that their pizza is not that great to begin with. I will not eat there again.

great pizza, terrible service. As much as I love their unique pizza (especially the Latin Lover), I will not order from this place again. Every single time we have ordered take out we have to wait around for someone to come help us while I see our pizza sitting out. Many times we get something different from what we ordered. Good luck getting food or drinks if you're dining in, especially on Friday or Saturday nights. The staff is not rude but they often act aloof or indifferent, which can be pretty frustrating when combined with the painfully slow service.

Okay Pizza, if it ever gets to your house. Although conveniently located, I will not eat here again. Over and over I am disappointed with the delivery times (1-1.5 hours or more, typically), mediocre pizza and sub-par service. I recently ordered a pizza and after two plus hours of waiting, I called them up to check on the status. They had "no record or me placing an order" (my credit card bill disagrees) and were not apologetic, did not offer a discounted or free pizza and made it seem as if it were my fault. Who knew taking a delivery order was so difficult. In a city with so many delicious pizza places (with good service), I would not recommend taking a chance on Pizza Orgasmica; unless you like surprises (sometimes you get the pizza, sometimes you don't; sometimes the pizza tastes okay, sometimes it doesn't; sometimes they are friendly, sometimes they aren't; etc.). I have now spoken with them three times about my order/credit card bill--still not a single "I am sorry for the inconvenience".

Delicious Pizza and good service. Great place to watch sports!. After years of 2 a.m. slices on Fillmore, I'm happy to discover that this pizza is not only good sober, but they have a huge restaurant! I have now been to the Clement Street location twice-once for the lunch special (huge yummy salad included) and once with my boyfriend. We both love pizza but never the same kind however the waitress was more than accomodating of my "don't let the meat touch my side of the pizza request" The fruit infused water that they serve was delicious too!!

We Keep Trying And They Keep Dissapointing. Pizza Orgasmica has long been a destination of ours... dining in has only been moderately dissapointing at most, and delivery used to be a sure fire bet of delicous corn meal crust goodness. What has made them slip so much?? Wrong deliverys, hour and a half waits, cold pizzas, and sparcely distributed ingredients! We keep trying again because the pizza is good sometimes, but tonight was a major letdown for us and my visiting Mother. I can't believe I just paid 32 dollars for a cold, limp pizza, almost completely devoid of the ingredients I bought and paid for... I won't bother calling them to complain... I just won't call them anymore at all.

User review by thambii. The restaurant was busy, and we had to wait a bit by the bar before being seated. However, we didn't even get to order a drink before we got our table. I thought the food and service were great. All the employees were friendly, smiling and greeted us as we walked by. We got our pizza's promptly and they were hot and cheesy with perfect amount of toppings and not too greasy. Drink refills were offered just as we were finishing our first round. It was a bit noisy, but a great place to go for a good time to hang out with friends.
