Legendary service, shoes to die for and fashion-forward merchandise keep shoppers returning. – In Short
Founded as a Seattle shoe store in 1901, this popular chain is now known for manageably priced designer duds. Shoppers find a hint of sophistication in the store's white floors and pianists on baby grands. Unique departments include the Brass Plum juniors' section with Ruby Rox and Diesel, and Studio 121 for career-savvy women. A business-centric men's clothing department offers Ben Sherman suits, while relaxed styles from Marc Jacobs and Lacoste are in The Rail department.

from good to bad – I used to come to this spa because I received good services--facials and massage until tonight. The person doing my facial was unfriendly, and when she took me back she wanted to start the facial right away ,and then offhandedly told me if I like I can change and do the foot soak . There wasn't a robe for me to change into, and then there was no place for me to put my things so she told me to keep my bag with me, I had to ask her if I could put my things in the room. The foot soak wasn't aromatic at all, it was barely warm, and the girl came back, put a towel on the floor and told me to put my feet on there and then left. I had to then dry off my feet, and when she came back she just stood there in front of me not saying anything. She then held out her hand, and I gave her the towel, and she turned around and walked off. I've had these facials before, but this was very painful. The cleansing was fine, but the actual facial she missed the troubled areas, she did a couple of extractions (which she made clear in her tone she didn't want to do) and it was so painful I had to tell her to stop. She then started telling me it was because of my cycle, which it isn't according to her timeframe. She then used the pulse machine, and she kept lifting it up and putting it back down onto my skin shocking me every time she did it as opposed to putting it down and moving it across the skin. At the end of the facial, my skin felt dirty, I looked greasy and I had puffy lumps on my forehead which I've never gotten before. To add insult to injury, when I got home to check my mail, a man in the mail room commented on my visible pores and how I should get a facial (this was only 45 minutes after the facial), which is extremely embarrassing. It's now been 5 hours since I had the facial and my skin still hurts, and I look extremely greasy as though I rubbed vaseline on it. If this is a sign of how facials are now, definitely go elsewhere; it isn't worth the money nor the time.

BEST DEAL in H-town. – This is one of my favorite spas in Houston. I am very choosy when it comes to picking places to recommend, but this one makes it to my list because you get a great massage for a reasonable price ($80), which includes an aromatic foot soak and herbal elixir to drink, along with bottled water before and/or after. Once, I got a massage in a room with a shower in it, and decided to freshen up afterwards. They also have a nice powder room, with hairspray and other amenities where you can put on makeup if you have a date or meeting friends afterwards.

Impressive Spa Experience – After walking by on many a shopping trip, I finally decided to take the plunge and get a massage at this spa within my favorite store! From the minute I walked in I was impressed with the service and appearance. I was kindly greeted and offered water or tea while I waited. Once promptly escorted back, I was given a locker to store my items and changed into a robe. Next I was taken to a little loungey room where I was given their signature foot wash/bath (this is standard with any spa service) while they prepared my room and again I was offered tea or water. The decor is very lavish with unique light fixtures, huge paintings on the walls, and flowy curtains. I had my deep-tissue massage which was nice - not the best I've had, but not bad either. It was your "run-of-the-mill" massage with nothing special about it...but it was definitely relaxing and loosened some of my tension - which was what I was wanting. After my massage I was invited to relax in the loungy room again while my massage therapist prepared an elixir for me to "replenish me" after my massage...very cool, I thought. Overall, this was a great spa experience. They do a lot of little things that a lot of spas don't which really count in my book. When I go to a spa I want to feel pampered, not rushed, completely relaxed, and forget where I am for the hour or so that I'm away from the world....and I got this at Spa Nordstrom. I recommend this spa whole-heartedly.

The Best – When I go shopping in Houston Nordstrom will always be my first stop. The service is top of the line. You can always find any shoe you are looking for in their massive shoe department and the selection in their clothing is like no other department store. I pride myself on shopping and I will say that there is no other place in the world like Nordstrom!

Unforgettable Massage – My experience at Spa Nordstrom as was absolutely exceptional. My massage was performed by Gregoria which was more than phenomenal. I have pampered myself with dozens of massages before done by the so called professionals, but have never experienced a massage like Gregoria's. Gregoria's miracle hands and wonderful smile put you in a state of total relaxation. I will definitely go see her again.
