AJ MADISON IS A HUGE JOKE – I wish I too had the 0 star option. AJ Madison has been such a waste of my time. I ordered a Marvel wine cooler and noticed that it looked like the box had been dropped on one of the corners. After inspecting the unit we noticed that indeed it had sustained heavy damage. We called cust. service who stated that they wanted to do a 10% discount. I said no as I wanted a replacement because the unit was "heavily damaged". Well she said that the manager was going to let me know. This has been going on for a couple of days now and everytime I call its the same thing "the manager is working on an option for you". I DONT WANT AN OPTION, REPLACE THE STUPID THING! I will be calling my Mastercard today to have my payment refunded and have them deal with these idiots.

Horrible Service, Horrible Delivery, Damaged Product – If you're attracted to the low prices and convenience of a company like AJ Madison, then you'll probably fall into the same trap that we did.

We purchased a refrigerator from them for our business three and a half weeks ago and it was just delivered today. When at first they attempted delivery a week ago, they left a message on our company phone line at 6:15am saying that they would be delivering in 20 minutes. Now, I'm not sure about you, but we aren't at the office at 6:30 in the morning... and we plainly stated what our business hours were at the time of purchase. Despite this little detail, they took it upon themselves to claim that "we weren't available when they attempted delivery", then proceeded to drive back down to Southern California with our product still on their truck.

After several phone calls to rude customer service reps, we determined that we wouldn't get another chance at our long awaited refrigerator until the following week. When the time came, their inconceivably rude drivers attempted another 6:30 am delivery, then got angry that we wouldn't be available. They then told us that they would deliver at 10am... and didn't get here until 3pm.

A couple of thug looking rejects hopped out of a rental Penske truck. They dropped our dirty and severely under-padded refrigerator off and left before the dust could settle. We were crossing our fingers that there wasn't any damage, but no such luck. This package had been bounced around in the back of the delivery truck more than a ball in a pinball machine... and unfortunately, the shelving inside of the fridge was all jarred loose from the flimsy tape meant to hold it down. Everything was so shaken that we couldn't get the door open initially. One shelf is broken, another one is cracked, there are scrapes on the outside of the fridge, gouges on the inside, the wheels are damaged, and the stabilizing foot bent so that it's unusable.

The downside is that we probably won't even attempt to get any response from AJ Madison... not after all of the bad reviews we've read about it being so pointless.

Great experience! – We ordered a refrigerator from AJ Madison and then read the reviews of the company. Needless to say we were extremely worried. I thought about cancelling the order and just ordering from somewhere else. My husband convinced me to stick it out and give them the benefit of the doubt. Well we did and they delivered. We received the correct refrigerator in less than two weeks. It works wonderfully. We are very pleased!

WORST COMPANY IN THE WORLD – I HAD TO GIVE IT 1 STAR BECAUSE THE SYSTEM WOULD NOT ALLOW ME TO GIVE IT LESS. NEVER, UNDER ANY CIRUMSTANCE DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. THE OWNER, ISSACC GROSS WILL NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE PERSONALLY INVOLVE HIMSELF IN ANY CUSTOMER PROBLEM (NO DOUBT ON THE ADVICE OF HIS LAWYERS SINCE COURT IS THE ONLY LIKELY ROUTE TO RESOLVING ANY PROBLEMS WITH THIS COMPANY) THEIR 100% SATISFACTION GRANTEE ULTIMATELY THEY ARE 100% SATISFIED WITH TAKING YOUR MONEY TO THE BANK AND THUMBING THEIR NOSE WHEN THE PRODUCT SHOWS UP 2 MONTHS LATE, DEFECTIVE ON ARRIVAL AND UNABLE TO PROVIDE THE REPAIR PARTS FOR ANOTHER 7 MONTHS

Didn't publish my negative review – I bought a range, dishwasher, and sink from them this summer. No problems at all with their prices, delivery or condition of the items. BUT they did not publish my negative review of one appliance, leading me to think they censor their reviews. This could explain why this particular appliance has an extremely high rating on their site when in reality it's a piece of junk that has probably been discontinued by the manufacturer or soon would be if honest reviews were available. I'm now stuck with it since my granite countertops are designed around it.

STAY FAAAR AWAY FROM THIS STORE!!! – I wish I had read the reviews about this store before I made the mistake of purchasing from them. I was too busy reading reviews about the washer/dryer I was interested in that I didn't think to look up the store itself. I am writing this so no one makes the same mistake Ii made.



I purchased a Speed Queen stackable washer dryer and once it was installed and ran the first load of laundry, there was a loud tapping noise in the final spin cycle. I called the store who said I had to call Speed Queen. Speed Queen gave me the number for the third party warranty company.

The warranty company recommended an authorized repair service in my area.

The tech repair man who came was wonderful and very truthful, he told me he worked for the repair company for 37 years. He said the machine had bad ball bearings from the factory and his company does not even replace bad bearings because it is a difficult job and he said it would give me lots of problems in the future. He recommended that I contact the store to get the machine exchanged, it was a lemon. That's when the problems began.

The customer service people at AJ Madison keep juggling me around, no one would let me speak to the customer service supervisor, they kept promising me a call back and they never called back, I had to keep calling them. Then one evening they sent an email saying that Speed Queen said the repair was done and fixed!

Nothing had been done. The sales guy who seemed nice, said he'd transfer me to the supervisor, and we got disconnected. I gave him the benefit of the doubt that it could have been accidental, but when I called back, the customer service rep did the same thing!!

After the 3rd day, I just called American Express to intervene as I realized I was going no where fast with these people.

The issue is still not resolved, but at least the charge has been removed from my Am Ex card. I will report back when all is resolved. I hope Am Ex does the right thing, I think they will.

But stay away from AJ MADISON and spare yourself the grief in case you have an issue with the merchandise.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE - AVOID THIS COMPANY – I would like to leave a comment regarding the sales representative that I was dealing with. He was helpful in obtaining my quote and great with follow up. However, he just called me to follow up and to inquire about the status of my order. Upon hearing that I decided to proceed with another vendor, he abruptly hung up on me without even hearing me out. I felt that it was very rude, disrespectful and unprofessional of him. I definitely made the right choice to not to purchase appliances from AJ Madison with sales representatives that conduct themselves so poorly with potential customers.

TERRIBLE Customer Service – Stay away from this company if possible!! You will be on hold for forever if you have something you need to sort out with customer service. Even when you get through to someone, they cannot care less about you!

One Pretty Ideal Experience To Add – I purchased a maytag washer and dryer from AJ Madison about 6 weeks ago. They arrived in perfect condition and work fine. Worked with Victor, who was courteous and answered my questions about AJ Madison's really poor reviews.

I took a gamble and it paid off. We're very happy with how much we saved and the appliances work like they should, so no complaints.

Terrible company – I wish I read the review before I had anything to do with this company. Just as most of the reviews said, people in this company are rude, the customer services are POOR.

I was told that the stainless steel dishwasher ordered was not in stock, and I had to wait for a week for it to be ordered. But after the extra week of waiting, the dishwasher delivered to my home was still a wrong one (a black one)! Unfortunately, when the electrician installed the dishwasher, I was not home. I contacted the customer service immediately after I found out. Their first response made me relieved. They said they would ship out the right model and swap out the wrong one for me. Which may only takes a week.

After a week of waiting (without touching or using the model that’s installed), I called the customer service and surprisingly found out that they had changed the solution to just replacing the front door (saying that the two models are the same expect for the front door). I could not accept the deal because I don’t want a new appliance that has different parts assembled together. Emails ever get responded, and you can ever get hold of a person that can make the decision.

So, if you want to do business with this company, pray that nothing goes wrong. Otherwise, you are doomed. And with the attitude this company towards its customers, things very likely will go wrong
