One of my favorite places to eat! – A few weeks ago, my friends and I went out to dinner and decided to try this place. When we walked in, the place had very nice decor, and a great atmosphere!

What wowed me was when the food arrived, I tried most of the soups, which were FANTASTIC! Especially the french onion soup! When our entrees arrived, they were just as fantastic as the appetizers!

Everything was fresh, the server was very polite and helpful with our menu selections, and the food was absolutely delicious! I am going to come here again!!

This place is a disgrace! – Our family had reservations for Thanksgiving. The whole meal was a total nightmare! The drink order wasn't right, the soups and salad were served with 20 minutes between them, and we waited on our meal for 2 hours because we later found out they had run out of turkey! No one told us of this mishap until we started complaining of the wait! Then, our turkey was not the same as others around us, it looked like Swanson's or thickly sliced deli turkey. The waiter couldn't even get our checks right! The manager gives us $5 coupons, like we would really want to go back! What a disgrace this place was. We will never go back and I won't recommend this place to anyone!

Atmosphere rules at this French New Orleans-themed spot that serves traditional American fare. – In Short
Decorated like a French country bistro with jazzy New Orleans overtones, Mimi's Café was named after a lost love of Arthur Simms, who started the restaurant in 1978 in Anaheim, Calif., with his family. The ambience could only be upstaged by the menu filled with traditional American favorites. Breakfast includes omelets, waffles, muffins and fresh-squeezed juices, while lunch and dinner feature comfort-food classics like pot pie and pot roast, deli-style sandwiches, burgers, pastas, steaks and salads.
