very good – wanted to try something new. loved it. food was good, great atmosphere. will go back. great place for happy hour, or to bring kids.
By Far the Best! – Best Mexican food in town, Best service. Everything on the menu is awsome!!! From the Fish dishes to the roasted Chicken and the Spinich and Mushroom Enchiladas with Suazus sause.. And you gotta try the grilled veggies... MMMMM MMMMMMM Good!
Great tex mex style food, fun and festive – Anytime we have a group together we end up at Santa Rita Cantina. The food is delicious, and the service rocks. And the price is affordable. We sometimes have a pretty big table of people and I always expect the tab to be more than it is. If you go try the fish tacos. I am not kidding they are the best in town. Anyway we love to eat there and I am sure you will too. Give it try if you haven't already.
Twisted Tex-Mex decor and food bring color to this central Austin location. – In Short
A member of the cozy 26 Doors Shopping Center, Santa Rita holds true to Mexican culture with its bold, vivid colors. The dining room is intimate and inviting thanks to warm walls and soft lighting. Two spacious patios provide alternate seating areas with bright, stylish chairs and glass-topped tables. The kitchen uses rotisserie as the method of choice for roasting meats, making the enchiladas, tacos, and even the flautas taste a bit unique.
Great food & great staff – I had my rehearsal dinner at Santa Rita in May 2005 and it was perfect. I was looking for a fun, relaxed & casual atmosphere, yet more on the upscale side with good food. Santa Rita delivered that and more. They were extremely accommodating: we had over 40 people and we sat in the group room and even had some tables right outside, they combined two of the party menus to fit our needs and made up special menus for our guests, the wait staff worked their butts off for us and the food was excellent. The Santa Rita Pescado dish was the favorite of the night. I highly recommend Santa Rita.
