Great non-chain Mex food in neighborhood – I almost always have the Chicken Fajitas. I have never had a bad meal here. The service is always fast and I am never waiting long for a drink refill.

Prices are also very fair. They are on par with any other Mex restaurant.

Give La Piedad a try. You will not be diappointed!

La Pienasty – I see pretty good, most authentic, and probably the best in Broad Ripple. Ok, if you are comparing Mexican dives in Broad Ripple that may fly. I have yet to find anything on the menu that is pretty good, authentic, or 5 stars. I want what you are drinking!

The price coincides with the quality of tasteless mystery meat they load into their dishes. The stinch of body oder on the chips does prove they do work hard in the kitchen though. This is the "LONE STAR" RESTURANTE. La Margarita near 91st & Meridian if you want the best Mexican in the area.

Best Mexican in Indy – Now granted we have only been here a year, but we moved from LA where we had 23 Mexican joints within walking distance. This is the only place that we've tried so far here that could compete out west. Fast friendly service, good prices, great location, and amazing food. I had the carnitas and it was some of the best pork I've ever had. My wife had the asada and it was pretty good too. The chips were fresh and hot. All around great place. My only wish is that they had margaritas, but a good cold Bohemia went well with dinner.

GREAT Mexican Food!!!! – If you like real Mexican food - not the kind you might get at Don Pablos or Chi Chi's, this place is perfect. It's unique atmosphere only adds to the dining experience. It's always packed, they have great sala, prompt seating, excellent service and food. Highly recommended!

One of the worse food ever! – We live in Broad Ripple and decided to try this place. Outside seating is always packed, so the food can't be that bad right? We were wrong!!!!

The guacamole was not fresh, it looks like it came from a premixed bag, the salsa looked and tasted like it came from a can. We ordered tacos, chicken and beef. Both were completely flavorless, we both had one taco each and gave up on the rest cause it was just to awful. The service was nothing to write home about either.

This has got to be the worse food EVER! I just don't understand why people are going there to eat.

Disappointment – The food was below average, the service was very indifferent and there was very little 'Mexican' about the decor. Looks like they just moved in and changed the menu to Mexican. Prices were okay but the check was not itemized, so we took a guess that it was correct.

There are plenty of better Mexican restaurants you should try.

This place is the best! – It is hard to find authentic Mexican food in Indianapolis, but La Piedad takes the cake. Their food and service are both excellent. My friends and I all rave about the place. Although I recently moved out of Broad Ripple, I plan to come back often. I wish they had a La Piedad one on the south side!

Quite possibly the best Mexican food in Indy – I don't know how places like Don Pablo's make the top ten when you have La Piedad. One can easily tell the Don Pablo's uses ingredients that are not fresh. La Piedad on the other hand has consistent quality and very friendly staff. It is also a very clean restaurant and in a great location.

Authentic Mexican dishes are freshly prepared at this small Broad Ripple eatery. – In Short
Named for their hometown, La Piedad is family-owned and run by an all-Mexican staff. The decor is simple, with its plastic tables and chairs in a cottage-like setting overlooking the Monon Trail. But mariachi music, colorful serapes and a Mexican flag on the wall distinguish it as a Mexican eatery. Cooks prepare fresh, flavorful dishes like chili rellenos, cheesy enchiladas and shredded beef burritos in a small but busy kitchen for a 30-something professional crowd.
