Too crowded. I've been here several times, Have had fun on occasion. It's pretty loud and wild mostly college age crowd- definitely mostly 20's crowd (which I am in my 20's!). The rooms next door keep changing and are never really that popular compared to the wild craziness going on in the main room. Citysearch profile says its clean-- last time I was there, broken bottles were ALL over the floor- of course that may have been because a huge multi-guy fight had just broken out (over some skanky girl- not worth it to begin with!), and bottles were being smashed on people's heads. If you like a crazy crowds, this is the place for you! I had a good time until this last time when the huge fight broke out. So just know you are taking your chances! I'm not sure I'll go again!
Dress Code Issues. While this is a fun, packed bar on weekend nights, I was more than a little appalled at the dress code. I'm about as conservative as they come, politically and in clothing, but the dress code banned not only baggy clothes and grills, but any clothing by certain designers, i.e. Phat Farm, Sean Jean, etc. I'm not saying the place is discriminatory, but the whole aura just seemed backward.
Fun, Good music, great bartenders. This place is a lot of fun. Great bartenders, great drinks, terrific local music and people. Good place to meet people ---- Rock and Roll!!!!!!!!!
On The Rocks is an Awesome Place. On the Rocks is definetly a good place to meet people. It has a great night life scene, great bartenders, and great food. OTR now serves lunch everyday starting at 11a.m. There is a huge selection of food to chose from and tons of great drinks and beer. During the day On The Rocks is a great place to grab lunch, have a drink, or just hang out. I highly recommend this restaurant/bar. You won't regret going.
This rockin' bar adds more heat to the already bustling Demonbreun strip..
In Short
This clean and friendly sister club to Gravity has a late-night, open-air restaurant flavor, with patio seating, a brightly lit interior and canned music that spills out onto the street. The demographic here is a youthful, college-aged crowd, and the lines are typically several dudes deep to get a drink at the bar. TVs line both walls in the rectangular-shaped main room and broadcast everything from hot new videos to sporting events.
