Search hard to find a groomer like this one – I have one mini schnauzer and one giant schnauzer. These type of dogs require some skill to groom well and it is so hard to find someone that does a good job.

I have gone through 4 groomers before I found Cold Nose. My little dog use to be scared to go to the groomers (probably because they were so rough), but he is perfectly fine going to this place. I know my dogs are well cared for when I go because my dogs like their employees.

The groomers at cold nose don't ask you to bring your dogs in till they can actually work on them. This means that my dogs don't sit in a kennel all day waiting for the grooming to start.

It I ever have a concern about how they were cut they fix the issue right away before I go home with the dogs. They even know us by name and we only go in every 8 to 12 weeks.

This is the only place I will take my dogs because they are kind and do a great job. Well worth the money.

Cold Nose Grooming – This review is the other side of the story to Italian 1's comments about his experience at "The Cold Nose".

When he came into the shop his toy poodles were very matted and the groomer told him that the matts would have to be shaved off, but she would see if they could be combed out without hurting his little dogs. After he left and the dogs were on the table it was obvious that it was going to be too painful comb them out. She called the owner and informed him of the situation to make sure he was ok with having to shave the dogs matts out and start over. He agreed that would be the best thing to do. So the groomer did that and tried to save as much as possible so that they weren't completely bald! Groomers dont just shave off toy poodles tail puffs off for no reason. When he came to pick them up he did not say anything about their condition and left the shop.

When he went home and put his contacts in and discovered he did not like the way they looked he did not contact us. Our customers are important to us and we will be more than willing to work with anyone that has a complaint! So instead of him letting us make it right and either redoing the dogs or getting a refund he chose to write a bad review and complain about how they looked and how much money he spent. We groom hundreds of dogs and we have very loyal customers who have been coming to our shop for years, some of them for decades and they leave very happy! So if you are not satisfied with your groom or any other concernes please feel free to call us and we will do our best to make it right!

Worst grooming my dogs have ever had – I took my Toy Poodles here for the first (and last) time today. Unfortunately, when I picked them up, I wasn't wearing my contacts and didn't look at them before paying and going home.

When I arrived home and took a closer look at them. They looked like they had been run over by a lawnmower. Top of their heads were choppy and uneven. Their solution to dealing with some minor matting was to simply chop all the surrounding hair off. The inside of their ears were still full of hair and one of their tail puffs was shaved off completely. If I wanted them chopped and stripped I could have done that myself and saved myself $76 and another $10 in gas..
