Mall shoppers and weary travelers refuel at this food court mainstay for quick, affordable Italian cuisine. – In Short
Founded as an Italian grocery in 1959 Brooklyn, this family-owned chain has since morphed into the world's largest shopping mall-based eatery, with additional locations in airports, train stations and college campuses. On-the-go diners line up cafeteria style around exhibition kitchens to choose from ready-made, New York-style pizza slices, calzones, garlic knots and Neapolitan standards, such as lasagna, chicken parmigiana and baked ziti. Most locations offer communal seating in a casual, bus-your-own-table setting.

Good pizza, steep prices, bad service – With the exception of the deep dish, Sbarro's pizza is delicious. The lowest price slice (I'm not 100% sure) was something like 2.39 and the highest was 3.49. Again, not exact but the dollar values are definitely right. Very pricey and if you happen to get a cold slice, you're out at least nearly three bucks. I've only been here once or twice in the past few years, but the last time the service was sub-par. I got a cold slice and a cashier with an attitude. Very pricey but the pizza is good when hot. I'd say try one of the Chinese places instead since you get a lot more food, it will be hot, and it probably won't cost as much to feel satisfied.

very bad pizza – i don't think they were going for taste on their pizza. It was soggy ,and their was so many strong spices on it you couldn't taste the pizza. The are also way over priced !
