Can't say enough... – What a perfectly enjoyable evening... Our first night in Jackson. Great service from our man, Tuck, at the bar. The frog's legs are simply delicious: white wine, tomatoes, basil - slightly crispy (yet not too crispy) sauteed, succulent perfection. The natural burger is savory and rich with flavor (be sure to order med.-rare). Fries were hearty and hand-cut. Redezvous (or, "The Bistro" as the locals refer to it) offers an extensive wine list - the Elk Grove Pinot Noir was recommended by our bartender to complement our meal. It was enjoyable, clean and smooth.

We loved every minute of our visit to Rendezvous Bistro - we'll definitely recommend and will defintely be back.

Young Jackson's go-to spot for affordable American eats and a lively bar scene. – The Scene
An upbeat greeting reveals the restaurant's convivial nature: This is where 30-something locals gather to catch up with friends, stacking two-deep at the bar on weekends, sipping pints of Spaten while checking out the eye candy. The dining room, with its slatted cherry wood ceiling and craft paper-topped tables, is a bit less bustling, but the mood is still upbeat and casual.

The Food
The mix of tried-and-true American favorites and trendy, Asian-accented dishes are elevated to surprising heights thanks to a careful kitchen. Forget the usual hum-drum grilled cheese; this one's got Muenster and cheddar melting into avocado, tomato and smokey bacon. And instead of hot wings you'll be digging into sweet-and-spicy, chili-licked frogs legs with cooling cilantro salad. Duck confit, surrounded by buttery braised cabbage and savory spaetzle, hits the wintry comfort food spot, but don't overlook the outstanding seared-rare scallops in ginger-soy butter.
