love it. i love this place ! and i don't know who wouldn't it ! a perfect mix of bigger city amenities and smaller beach town etiquette !

Beach scenes, temperate climate and shopping options keep this relaxed coastal community and college town hopping year-round.. In Short
State Street is the city's pedestrian-friendly main drag, lined with open-air cafes, tiled courtyards, galleries, bars and shops both upscale and eccentric. Cultural highlights include the 65-acre Botanic Gardens and historic Mission, but the real draw is the beach. On the east end, college types and young families replace downtown's bag-burdened shop-hoppers. To the west, there are cocktail cruises and whale-watching from the Cape Cod-like harbor and nearby Stearns Wharf boardwalk.
