Tips for English Billiards and Restaurant Wine Bar
One of the nicer pool halls in Gwinnett County.. My husband and I played pool at English Billiards this past Saturday night after a romantic dinner. We walked in and a table was available for us right away. We were greeted and directed to the table and a pitcher of beer was brought very promptly. The pool tables seemed to be in pretty good condition, as well as the pool cues. Other people we noticed were mostly couples, probably late 20's to 30's and it seemed to be a nice crowd. So many other pool halls in Gwinnett County (in fact ALL of the ones I have ever been to) have been kind of scummy almost, and full of teenagers and trashy young folks. We were very pleased to play pool and be surrounded by people like us! I highly recommend the English Billiards for a good old game of pool and beer in a decent environment.
