Tips for Dean's Homestyle Cafe
On 1-6-12 I had breakfast at Dean's. I had bacon eggs and hashbrowns. I did not eat anything else all day after that. Around 3:30 in the afternoon my stomach started to bloat and hurt really bad. By 5:30 I was vomiting violently and into the night. By now, 10:00 am 1-7-12, I am almost back to normal. I called Dean's Just to warn them to check their eggs and bacon, and the woman tried to skirt the issue and blame it on something else. I am disgusted with how they handled the situation!!!!!!!!!!!
Just Lost Us As Customers. like the last post, we went there today with our Entertainment Book coupon in hand. Thankfully, we did see the sign on the door so we didn't go in. We choose not to bring our business with someplace that is so lame/unethical as not to honor the coupon.
Bad business practice. My husband and I decided to go to Dean's today for breakfast after seeing a coupon in the Entertainment book. We thought we would give it a try since we had driven by on a prior occasion but never been in. We had good service and our food was pretty tasty. When we went to pay our tab our server informed us that she was unable to honor our coupon. She said there was some sort of "misunderstanding" with the Entertainment book and the coupon was not to be printed. Seems strange since their logo is on the coupon and it was spelled out that it was good until Nov 2011! I was told there was a note posted on the door that they did not accept any coupons (which I did not see). I was fairly upset since the entire reason we thought we would try it was due to the coupon. Rest assured we will NEVER go back and will tell everyone we know about this bad business practice. This place would rather lose a potential repeat customer than give $8 in savings. Unacceptable!
Best Place for Breakfast!!!.
This is the best breakfast place we have ever been to. The portions are HUGE. The quality is wonderful.. The food is excellent. The service is fantastic. The cook (the one & only Dean himself) is awesome... He sure puts a smile on your face. You will not leave hungry. We promise you. We highly recomend this place. We have turned many virgins on to this place & they also keep going back.

Awesome breakfast in a homey atmosphere. This Damascus outpost is well worth the drive, and you will not leave hungry! Dean's cooks up great traditional breakfasts all day long. Its a tiny place, but the staff is extremely friendly and food always great. Hashbrowns are crunchy, like they should be, eggs done just right. Highly recommend the country sausage, which comes in a huge patty (probably close to 1/2 pound!) and tastes better than sausage we've had anywhere. Really good pancakes and cinnamon french toast. We've heard the chicken-fried steak takes up 2 plates, but haven't tried it yet. Go early on the weekends if you don't want to wait.
