Great service ! – I first starting doing business with this company 5 years ago after finding out they were one of the oldest retailers in the nation with one of the highest customer satisfaction ratings among retailers. I have ALWAYS found them knowledgeable,professional and quick to help . I have referred 3 of my family members through those years and all of them are very happy with the customer service as well.
terrible service – i was sold a bundled package - turns out that my area is not able to get the internet service - after i specically mentioned my concern to the sales person. now i am stuck with an 18 mo. contract with dish (their hd receivers are very noisy, by the way!)
Awesome customer service. This place will save you money!! – I was referred by my neighbor to call Planet Earth Satelite. He saved some money from what he was paying to Cox cable and said I should call them too. I really appreciated the time John the salesperson took to explain everything, from the DVR technology to saving me money off what I was paying for internet and phone. The installer showed up on time, was very considerate to my curious kids and explained everything so that even I could understand it. If you are thinking about getting a satellite system, I would definitely go through these guys.
Awesome Experience! – I thought the company was great! I had Cox cable before this and had nothing but problems. My salesperson (Tom) explained everything and made sure I got the right programming for my family. Gary, the installer, was an absolute gem and explained the DVR so that even I could use it! I switched my phone, internet and cable over and am saving $43/ month, a lot for a single Mom on a tight budget. They even gave me $50 for referring my mother, and she loved them too, which is saying a lot if you knew my mom!
Terrible sales, terrible customer service and even worse technical support... – I'd give it 0 stars if I could. I could not be more unhappy. I recently moved to Phoenix, and signed up with this outfit prior to my arrival. After explaining to the sales guy (who I later found out was the owner) what I wanted (4 TVs, 2 DVRs), he recommended DISH Network. When it was time for installation, I quickly found out that what I was sold is not offered by DISH. I later found out that the configuration I was sold could not be done. I quickly found out that I was locked into a contract for 18 months...to bad. I have since had to call for service, and over two weeks after calling, still cannot get a tech to my house. Not DISH Network's fault...it is OK. This place has poor customer service, they don't know what they are selling...they will tell you anything to make a sale. And the customer service is worse than terrible. If you are looking to get satellite, cable or anything else, go directly to the company (DIRECTV, DISH, QWEST) or at least go somewhere other than Planet Earth. You'll be happy you did.
