3 crow bar – The first time we went to this place we liked it, about the third time we went it sucked! The bartenders their really suck!!!!! They are not friendly at all, during happy hour this place is really over crowded! All their drinks that they make really suck, if I was you I would stick to beer only at that place. The only thing that was good at this bar was one bartender that worked out on the patio on Sundays. She sets a good example of how a bartender should act. If your looking for great food and the BEST Margaritas ever go to Steve's Resturant & Bar!
There are much better options – With all the great bars in Nashville why would you go to 3 Crow Bar? There are many better corner bars in Nashville.
open SUNDAY too – googled best bloody mary and got this place. lived up to it. also great beer selection and friendly help. great way to spend a Sunday in Nashville.
Best Bloody Mary in town. – We were on a hunt for the best bloody mary in Nashville, which we found here at 3 Crow Bar, surprisingly. It's a dive joint with great atmosphere, but very smokey. Outerbanks pizza is highly recommended.
Go there for a drink, but pass on the food. – The beer choice is terrific, and they mix 'em strong there, which is a plus. The food, however, is awful. Don't go there if you are looking for a meal... go across the street to the pizza place, or over to Beyond The Edge for a decent sandwich.
Get your drinks at the bar, as the bartenders are always on the spot, but the wait staff can be painfully slow.
This place is awful – I do not reccomend 3 Crow Bar to anyone. Kind of new to area and wanted to check out the 3 Crow Bar. We sat down and it takes about 10 min. before anyone actually takes our order. There is only one server in the whole place and it was packed. After about 30 min. the server actually comes back to check on us. We order another round of drinks and it takes at least 10-15 min. longer to get our next drink. This happens one more time and it's starting to become ridiculous. We pay our bill and leave a very small tip on purpose becasue the service was probably the worst service I have ever had in my life. We put the bill on our debit card. The next day I check the bank account and the server or whoever upped the tip by $6.00. That is THEFT. I will never go back to the 3 Crow Bar and I reccomend you not go either, unless you enjoy wasting tons of time and businesses who steal money out of your bank account.
The Bar Where everyone knows your name..... – My boyfriend and I frequent 3 Crow Bar at least once or twice a week especially when it's two for one's! The great thing about their special is that you don't have to drink both beers in one sitting....They will give you a token to bring back at any time for your free drink! This is a beautiful thing, which basically means when you're good on money save your tokens, and when you're broke you can still go out and drink for free!!! We love it! The atmosphere is nice too because its not too trendy and if you live in East Nashville you will always see someone you know! The only downside to the bar is that half of the place (which is 15-20 tables) has ONE server....EVEN on 2 for 1 nights! And sometimes there is NO waitress and you have to go to the bar for all of your drinks. It's quite frustrating, but we love the place enough to deal and be happy that we have 3 Crow Bar to hang out with our friends and have a drink.
Best East Nashville Local Scene – Although the previous review was *clearly* written by the owner (or a ringer of some sort), 3 Crow Bar is my favorite bar in East Nashville. The Sunday afternoon bloody mary is a thing of pure beauty. The garnishes are more a buffet than decoration, and the homemade bell pepper vodka is to die for. The drink prices are reasonable, the staff seem to genuinely love the bar (on most nights you'll find them hanging out if they aren't working), and the environment is relaxed.
The best part of 3 Crow, however, is not the bar itself. It's the patrons. Frequent 3 Crow, and you'll see the same good East Nashville folks day in and day out. My husband and I moved to Nashville not knowing a soul. After a few months sloshing it up at Crow Bar, we've made the most unbelievable, genuine friends. The bartenders are quick to introduce you to anyone they know, and they know *everyone.* As people walk through the door, you'll hear a chorus of "Hey Josh, Hey Katie, Hey..."
And Thursday Trivia is stupid fun. The bumper music is ridiculously good, and the DJs rock. But we never, EVER win. And what's up with the cocktail waitress? I've never seen anyone move that fast! She's amazing.
Open-air neighborhood pub in Five Points attracts a professional crowd. – In Short
This East Nashville watering hole has the atmosphere of a big-city urban lounge: extensive drink menu, kitschy decor--including garage doors as one main wall, and an outdoor beer garden. More than two dozen beers are always on tap, while the food menu features New York- and Chicago-styled deli sandwiches. The young, professional crowd is entertained with video games, dart boards and sports highlights on the TV sets inside and in the beer garden.
