Tips for Bond Lounge
Poor little Sensitive Bouncers. a bunch of us came to Bond for the first time, and we were having a great time, until my friend called me from outside saying his group of friends couldnt come in, and so I walked outside and the bouncers were not letting people in...saying it was crowded, which it wasnt that bad. They said they would let them in ONLY if they were to purchase a bottle, which costs over $200. Bribe? who knows, but even after saying we would, they still wouldnt, so I mentioned that I guess their club doesnt want to make money, and the bouncer told me to leave, so we left with all of our friends. I didnt know popular clubs hired sensitive bouncers.....would never recommend a club that has that kind of representation...it could ruin a business having people with little brains watching the front doors.
Sophisticated Bar in Midtown. I decided to go here a few nights ago after Hue (great, great place) We payed no cover to get in and I liked how the couches were set up on either side of the walkway, making sure that everyone notices you. There was a dj spinning some good techno music, not the same same old played out stuff, but there were only a few people dancing. The atmosphere was nice, and I really liked the crowd, mostly 20 something, with alot of very good looking people, not trashy at all
Where they going...?. We ran into this place by accident, we were driving around looking for another club in that area, but saw all these elegant dressed ladies walking into this club. Finally we decided to just check it out. As you walk around the the wall the closes the view into the club, you witness a wide somewhat plain but interesting decore. Large sofas on both sides w/ tables to relax in w/ your group of friends as you walk down the middle towards the bar. The music keeps you awake all night and the beautiful bartender's service you promptly with a nice smile. We honestly had a great time, and plan to be regulars here.
