Don't let Lori touch your face. I went to this spa with my girlfriends on 3-4 separate occasions. I was generally happy with the service.

My last facial was with Lori (who was, I think, the only aesthetician there) and she was doing extractions. Well..she was pressing so hard - I asked jokingly if I'm going to get bruises. She just laughed it off.

I DID GET BRUISES and had them for at least 2-3 weeks. I actually have a scar, you can even see the exact place she placed the metal instrument!!!

I complained to the manager Nicole about 10 days later who refunded my money and was very apologetic about it. She gave me a free microdermabrasion. She said she will talk to the dermatologist and call me back on what to do about the scar. She never did.

I do have pictures of the bruises and a scar to show for this facial.

I wonder now why they closed the spa. Nicole is actually a manager in Blu spa now. I am not sure if Lori went with her.

Most of my friends that went to the Southtowns medispa were happy w/the spa and I was until this incident. Just thought you may want to know my experience.
