Home of the Hottest Bartender in H-Town! – This place grows on me more and more every time I grab a drink there, which has become more and more frequent lately. Not only does it have the Big Buck Hunter Pro Edition which is a must for any drinking establishment I frequent, but they have found a perfect way to balance both my drinking and gambling habits with the Shot Wheel. Nothing like leaving your next shot in the hands of fate. Personally my favorite nights are Thursdays and Saturdays. Because in addition to the $2.50 Jager & Tuaca Bombs on Thursday and the off pitch tunes of Extreme Karaoke on Saturday, they've got Rebecca, the most beautiful bartender in the city of Houston, on hand to serve you. If you can't drink your troubles away, just coax a smile out of her and you'll be ready to take on the world.
Don't miss Tuesday nights! – Tuesday night extravaganza! The $2.50 you-call-its, the $5.00 burger and fries, the dozen or so TV screens, the great bartenders (shouts to Alex!), the pool tables, the small lounge area in the back (with Xbox hooked up!!!), I could go on and on. The perfect place to watch the game, and it's welcoming to outta-towners like myself. Can't figure out why there werre maybe 16 people there on both levels Tuesday, but they will DEFINITELY see me on Tuesdays for drinks and Sundays for the Bears games-
Best Bar in Houston – This two level bar has something to offer everybody! Tuesdays are a great night to go out if you are on a budget (2.50 you call its of ANYTHING) wow! Everybody that works there is friendly and can mix up great drinks. Do not miss out on steak night for only $11 you get a huge NY strip, fries and any beer!! Sundays is also $2.50 any draft beer night! With over 30 Tv's, Golden t live, pool, Big Buck hunter Pro 2006 you will never have a dull moment at The Mezzanine! This bar is my favorite they also cater greatly to service industryso ask your bartender all about that!! :)
Drink specials galore!! – This place has drink specials every day, including weekends. I went by on Friday and they have a HAPPY HOUR that goes on ALL NITE long. Food was excellent, and the other drink prices were very reasonable. Plenty of tvs to catch all the sports, and they even have a back room with an XBOX for all you junkies!!!
Great place to meet people – My first visit to the Mezzanine Lounge was during an after party for the Houston Dynamo soccer team. I meet alot of the players, and coaches, and other like fans. The bar was very clean and the staff quite friendly. Drinks were very reasonable, especially compared to mid-town or downtown. I will definitely be back!!!
Sports done right – First visit to the Mezz, as I have heard the regulars call it now, and hooked me for life! Great specials (Tuesday is $2.50 u-call-its, and they mean it), and the kitchen serves great food till 2 am. Plenty of tvs to catch whatver sport you are into. Also just heard they are a sponsor for the new soccer team in town, and the players are known to stop by after the home games.
Just what this city needed – The Mezz is set up perfectly. the upstairs is where all the action is whith plenty of TVs, pool, golden tee..then the downstairs allows you to retreat and relax. The tv's while not HD, are very good. I mean we are talking sports here. The food is well above average.
A NOT-HOT SPOT – I went there after seeing ads that they had 27 tvs and the best wings in town. Well the 27 tvs are small outdated and not in HD and unless you like chicken strips doused in hot sauce I would say the wings are the worst I ever had. When we asked the bar tender for iced tea we got water with a little tint of brown. The service was lousy with only two tables full. I would hate to be there on game day.
Two-level club provides the perfect compromise for Houston's martini set and hard-core sports fans alike. – In Short
Upstairs, more than 20 TV screens broadcast the latest game or Pay Per View event. Gamers can have a go at the pool tables and dart board, or join in one of the frequent poker tournaments. Enjoy nightly cocktail and beer specials, or take a chance at the bar's "shot wheel." Downstairs, a more conversation-friendly atmosphere can be found in the lounge with comfy couches and house-specialty Mezzatinis.
The place to be at gametime – Ever since it opened earlier this year...the Mezz has been my favorite place to be on game days.
Wings are the best in town...service is great, and the people that hang there really know their sports.
