If your in the nieghborhood.... Theyclothes are absolutely fabulous! Simple and still amazingly wonderful. If I had they money, I would get everything in the store.

unexpected surprise!. i went to see the highly talked about men's store the Industry when i came to this store in the same little building. it was so nice to see women's clothes kind of hidden in the back of the hallway. the style is so urban and black, just the way i like it. very eclectic. only bad thing is it was so hot in there, but other than that, i love their collection of black clothes!!!! def a must go see

Quality rules over quantity in this well-edited women's boutique catering to the creative and stylish Seattleites. Cutting-edge yet timeless designs from Paris and New York are featured, though the shop only carries a handful in each size. Key labels that drive even out-of-towners to visit include Yohji Yamamoto, Vanessa Bruno, Mayle, and Tsumori Chisato. Exquisite jewelry, undergarments and European footwear are also available.

Shopping heaven on Fremont. Jill is the owner, but she's also your best friend in this store. She always knows exactly what is going to look good on me, and is awesome at pairing things together, adjusting fit for your shape... I could go on and on, but if you're looking for personal attention and an amazingly friendly atmosphere, you can't go wrong with Impulse. Jill does a blog, too - it shows modeled photos of all of the stuff in the store - I subscribe to the email updates and usually end up picking something up online as a result. The return policy is always kind - in-store credit , but a lot more flexible than many boutiques. Definitely a must-hit if you're in the area!

Growing Up. Impulse (formerly MPulse) has grown up over this past year. Now the looks are more sophisticated and classic while remaining innovative and fun rather than the crafty feel it started with. APC, Bourne and Vivian Westwood are some of my favorites. Jill and her staff are always honest and make us feel at home while we shop. This store is truly one of Seattle's best kept secrets!
