Had a great time – Thanks to the establishment for making our anniversary memorable! Our close friends recommended this place and couldn't have done any better than this. As Seattlelites we have been to many restaraunts and clubs. But this one made our night. We spent our evening in a very romantic atmosphere and upon telling the waitress it was our 5th anniversary we recieved a complimentary glass of champaign on the house, not necessary..but much gratitude. Thanks again for a wonderful experience. We will be back and look forward to many more years together. I am sure this place will still be in business for our tenth anniversary....We will return...but won't wait until then!
Horrid! – Snotty....snotty...snotty! DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!!!! Wow - we really were expecting more. This place makes you feel like you are cheap suburb trash, which is pretty much all that was there. So if you are are PWT, you will fit right in.
HOTTEST BAR IN TOWN !!! – I was in Ibiza Saturday the 9th of September and had the greatest restaurant experience I've had since I've moved here from New York six months ago. My girlfriend and I sat at the bar around 9:30 to have a drink before dinner. The dining room was booked solid that night and there was no way we were going to get a table. After finding this out, Jordan, one of the bartenders suggested that we eat at the bar. It was a great suggestion. The service was second-to-none and the cuisine was perfectly paired with a delicious bottle of wine that we chose from their large but unintimidating wine list. Overall, I haven't been to an establishment in this city where food and beverage detail (their cocktails are fantastic!) is just as important as customer service. Coming from New York I feel that I can distinguish a decent restaurant from a fantastic restaurant, and Ibiza absolutely fantastic!
Beautiful restaurant and fun lounge – Last friday the 8th of september some friends and I went into Ibiza for dinner. My first impression was a very luxurious dinner spot with an inviting lounge. Our table was perfectly set and matched the prim and polished dining room. Our service was just as impressive, our server Joy made sure to answer all our questions about the menu as well as our wine inquires. our dishes were beautifully presented and just as delicious. I had the crab phyllo, which stands as my new favorite, and the beef tenderloin-grilled to perfection. All in all I love the Miami style decor, the friendly staff and the excellent entrees. I can't wait to go back and enjoy the lounge and weekend music and dancing!
Not recommended – We booked a party for a saturday night for 35 people in the lounge area. The waitstaff was rude to our guests, credit cards had unauthorized charges, cash that was paid for tabs that were held with a credit card was pocketed, when confronted with the situations the wait staff was irritated and didn't want to fix the charges. Management was unwilling to work with us in the beginning in booking the area, so I guess we should have taken that as a warning sign and booked our party elsewhere. Food was not good and took over a half an hour to receive. Our guests were constantly being ignored by the waiters. For example, drinks were set on the table - still full - and the waiters were removing them even after the guests had told them they were not finished with their drinks. All in all, it was a very bad night. It was embarassing for me and my friend to have been the hosts who recommended this place to all of our guests to come to for a good time. All of our guests walked away with the worst customer service they have ever received at any establishment. That's 35 people who will never return to this place.
Terrible service and food – Had to wait in the lounge so that they could "stuff the menus" before being seated at our table even thought we had an 8 pm reservation. Appetizers were mostly blah to down right bad. Dinner took an hour and a half to be served and one person's rizotto dish was an additional 10 minutes later than the rest of the dinner and apparently awful. We were there over 3 hrs and some drink orders took 45 minutes to get to the table. The birthday cakes that were brought took FOREVER to be brought back to the table to be served. We would have rather kept them at our table and served ourselves but they took them upon arrival. The birthday girl told the waitress about halfway through that the slow/poor service was really embarrassing as she has recommended the place and at the end we had to ask to speak to the manager to complain again as they had only compted the late arriving dinner. They took off the 20% gratuity that is automatically added to large groups. There were 10 of us. The place was never full and a table of 5 women were there the same amount of time and were not please either. Only thing decent were the drinks (when they actually showed up or when someone bothered to take an order) but at $8 we weren't keen to have many anyway. STAY AWAY. Pretty interior but everything else is a waste of time and $$.
one of my favorites – i went there for my birthday last year, and was greeted with amazing service, good food, and lovely ambience. as a gift, they treated me to a drink and delicious dessert as well! i've been back several times since, for both happy hour and dinner. unfortunately, the food has been slightly decreasing in quality since then , but hopefully with their new executive chef, that will improve. the ambience though, has more than made up for it. with the high ceilings, modern decorations, downtempo house grooves, and even a bed in the bar area, it's the perfect place to sit back with good friends and have good conversation, complete with a perfectly made drink in hand and a smile on your face.
Great Ambience and friendly staff – Our Server and busser were so personable and exceeded our expectations of service. The wine list has so many selections it was hard to make up our mind, but the Sommelier/General Manager was very useful in assisting us. The environment at first might seem too posh and intimidating, but soon you realize the staff is very friendly willing please. The new chef has changed the lunch menu to be a have a more fresh and enticing selection of items. Can't wait for the changes on the Dinner menu. After our Dinner we went to the VIP section for champagne. I hightly recommend it, there's nothing like it in Seattle. Lunch or Dinner you can't go wrong. It's unique.
great food = bad service – How can a place with such great food have such horrible service
loved it – i waited comfortably in the at the bar for my friend to arrive. upon her arrival we were quickly seated and settled in with drinks and began dining Tapas style, lots of small plates. we had the tuna, lamb lollipops, foie gras, pork empanadas, tenderloin skewers, anchovy crostini, and entree scallops. every single thing was PEFECTION, from the cooking level (rare on tuna med rare on foie gras and scallops, med on lamb and tenderloin (pink not bloddy) the presentation & choice of accoutrements was ravishing, pinenuts with lamb poached pear with foie gras. i eat out alot and eat well, Rovers and Le Gourmand of 2 of my all time bests. This place really shocked me with the quality, service (Jonathan) and overall experience. it was a saturday night but not too crazy obnoxious LOUD scenstery. i will be back, this weekend, and plan to starve myself all day
