Rudeness starts at Valet Parking – We got yelled at from the Valet for stopping our car too forward. The bouncer stopped us to ask for ID with a nice strong push on my chest. Once we made it in, a worker told us to move from where we were standing and, finally we ordered food and it was awful!
charming and enchanting – We had a great time here...the food was good, the servers attention to detail deserves an A+ as our waitress noticed every time intuitively what we needed before we had to ask. Pretty good for a very busy Sat. night to pay attention to such detail. No waits, or problems, we tipped well and will be back!
WORST SERVICE EVER! – The hostess assured me there would be space available for 9 when I made reservations. Arriving a bit early, we expected to wait a few minutes. Before we knew it, it was 10:20. We had been standing for a whole hour even after making reservations! I asked to speak with the manager to see if he could compensate for the time that we waited. He came to talk to us and gave us this whole spiel about how he wasn't willing to kick people out when other parties arrived. HELLO?! I told him i was NOT asking him to kick people out. Rather, I was wondering if he was willing to comp us. He said that there was nothing he can do and again went on about how it was not a possibility for him to kick people out of his restaurant and that having a reservation doesn't guarantee anything.
Tiny Portions – OK, don't expect dinner here, all they serve is snack plates, tiny ones at that. They start at $8 per bite (literally), to $14 for seafood snacks bites.
My first whiskey shot came that way and was alright, then the second 1/2 shot came mixed with ice, wouldn't get a fly high
The average age on a Saturday night there was about twenty something, a lousy place for middle agers. I gave the bartender my credit card when I first arranged for a table, then when I asked for my check it was lost for 10 min.
We had to ask for silverwear and napkins after they gave us our bites of food.
I tipped a smaller drink portion too, 10%....
Doesn't live upto the hype – We were really unimpressed by the food and treated badly on top of it! We had a reservation, but had to wait over AN HOUR to be seated. Once we were the food was mediocre. The presentation and the service were nice, but the food just didn't hit it. The flavors were off and for really good latin fare this just wasn't very good. Then when it was time to leave they accused me of trying to steal my coat!!! They had never given me a ticket for the coat check so they requested the brand name. I gave the correct brand but the host read it incorrectly and told me that he wouldn't give me my coat! I eventually convinced him b/c I could prove what was in the pocket, but it was the end of a very frustrating evening. Great restaurants don't treat their customers that way.
Our server Rocked! – We went to Ibiza on a very busy Saturday night (we had been there before, but much earlier) and it was packed. Had reservations in the dining room, which the host staff could not accomodate??-- after looking seeminly discouraged, the coctail waitress recognized us from weeks prior, remembered our names, and said "not to worry, I'll take care of you." She went above and beyond to accomodate us, rearranging tables in her very busy lounge, while she got our drinks quickly (after making recommendations) and even brought us menus to look at while she moved tables. I have never been treated so kindly or accomodated so well -- Coctail server was Kelly (spell?) and I will only go back because of her perfect and extremely knowledgeable service! Kelly Rocks and saved our night! the Paella is not traditional. recommend asking for Kelly if you hit this busy club!
Ambiance and Atmoshere in Abundance! – A friend had recommended this place and I was hesitant to go. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a friendly smile and hands on personal service. The only thing lacking was the red carpet. With a down to earth yet classy atmosphere we were treated well and promptly. The drinks had to top the nights indulgances, with the Tapas a close second. It was fun for all and it looked as if everyone else was enjoying the evening. Private, yet social, date place or singles...(sit at the bar and let the bartender entertain you with endless possibilities of new and exciting drinks ) It looks as though everyone had thier place....even us!
Don't go!!! – They sat us 1 hour after our reservation. It was my wife's b-day, and it was totally ruined by the hostess staff, who kept lying to us about our table. The food was very bland, and the drinks were very expensive.
Fun Place For Girls Night Out! – I went to Ibiza with two of my friends for Girls Night Out. The atmosphere was very fun, especially if you're lucky enough to get a booth along the wall to people watch. Our waitress must have been waiting on half the bar, but she was constantly checking back with us to make sure we had everything we needed. If you're into martinis, ones to try are: Strawberry Shortcake, it has a graham cracker crust rim and the Pineapple Martini. Other reviews suggested anything with Mango. My first two drinks were mango and I wasn't impressed. Everything else was great, though. Give it a try!
Great for a drink and people watching – Lots of beautiful people and a place to be seen. But the music is incredibly loud so you won't be heard. Good place to grab a drink but eat before you go. The sharable plates were average at best and our server kept forgetting about us.
