Thai Hell – Wanted to try this restaurant since it is convenient for me. Here are my thoughts - and this is coming from a person who will eat just about anything & is not picky or pretentious at all:
-Horrible food, ordered 3 dishes, 2 were totally disgusting, the 3rd, a common curry dish was unrecognizable, consequently it was the first time in all my life that I've thrown an entire dish away without even trying a single bite.
-Should have realized this because I was the only person in the entire restaurant for a 30 minute span
-Good deal if you want to spend $25 on a cup of rice
Bad taste and pricy – There are lots of Thai restaurant have better taste than this restaurant, I go there just because it closes to my working place. If I have more time, I will rather walk couple more blocks to get something else or another Thai restaurant.
An example for bad taste and pricy:
Appertizer - Spring Roll - 5 pieces finger-sized - for almost $6.00.
Delicious Lunch Eats – Thai Star is a great lunch spot. I go there for lunch periodically. My wife and I frequent Siam Thai on Broadway and know that a number of the people at the downtown Thai Star came from Siam, and there seems to be a good carryover here.
