Good Vibes and Great thin crust pizzas – Stop by after work last Friday at this place and was pleasantly surprised. I saw the 2/ for 1 Martini special advertised and wanted to check it out. When I walked in there was a good vibe, they had a DJ spinning, an open kitchen, with brick oven thin crust pizza and a good crowd at the bar. Even though Pazza Notte is in the heart of Midtown it has a real downtown feel. They waiter made sure we did order too much food, and was very caring, he checked to see if we were cold, and made sure we were comfortable, he even moved us to another table in the back later to have dessert, in a quite romantic room.

I got a take out menu to see what the delivery is like. I'm definitely going back for happy hour.

Awesome Martinis !! – Chilled, tasty and excellent martinis...friendly people and the place itself was very well decorated. Pazza Notte is packed with women and martinis, now thats awesome ! My co-workers and I will definately go back for more drinks and fun.

soggy and plastic – i was only in new york for a few days but i was ableto find the worst restuant of my life. one bite into my salad i tasted my local nail salon. i will not lie to you it tasted like plastic nails. the pizza was soggy and greasy . the chicken panini tasted like hamburger grease. the tomatoe basil sound tasted like a jar of tomato sauce from the grocery store.

not worth the money either, extreemly over priced.

just dont bother.

Ringing ears and a sore throat – The atmosphere is comfortable and fun. Nice crowd. The food was good, not great. The big problem was the noise. The music was turned up to a level where you had to scream to have a conversation. A group of us went after work for a friend who was leaving the company. The waitress spent half her time at the bar, with some guy rubbing her back, while we kept trying to get her attention to order drinks. When she finally came over she complained about not being able to hear us, as if we were in control of the music's volume. She was inattentive and snarky, but she was cute so I suppose that's something. After about 45 minutes of us shouting over the music, we asked a waiter if the volume could be turned down just a little. He cheerfully said, "sure". Yay! We were going to have conversation! A few minutes later someone came over and turned the speaker above our heads to face the ceiling...thereby making the sound bounce around even more. Terrific. Thanks, my friend. Good job. Perhaps this type of place just isn't my scene anymore, but after a long, stressful day, I don't really want to work that hard to talk over dinner. Won't go there again.

A Solid Choice – I've eaten here twice in the last several weeks; the food & service, while not stellar, are pretty good & make this a worthwhile place to return to. I've enjoyed the wild mushroom risotto both at lunch & at dinner; I have to say the lunch portion (for whatever reason) was more flavorful. My companions enjoyed their food as well; I came here as part of a group of 6 the second time & they were all impressed (though not overly so). And yes our waiter was rather pleasant looking! Wine & desserts was also good. There's a cool private room in the back that would be great for large groups dinners. The bathroom situation is less-than-ideal...for a restaurant this large, 2 rest rooms is just not sufficient enough. I take it from the setup that they sometimes have a DJ. Overall, this is a quality choice, not mind-blowing, but satisfactory if you are in the area & want to have very good Italian food & a nice experience.

Great food and Good Looking Staff – I first wanted to talk about these touchy and idiotic people who put reviews out there about seeing a creepy crawly once in a while in a restaurant. manhattan is an island and underneath this island is a sewer system and no matter how much you clean or have your space fumigated, they are everywhere. they are usually attracted to pompous costumers who dont tip, so if you see one near your table, the explanation above should give you an idea of why. Pazza Notte is one the most enjoyable restaurant/bars in NYC that i have ever been to. The martinis are delicious and getting two for the price of one is unbeatable. the pizzas taste like i am in rome, italy and the pastas are homemade and fantastic. the waitstaff is always attentive and fun and pretty. the bartenders are so handsome and they give you the feeling of being at a modeling shoot. the managers were helpful and courteous. the owners really knocked in a homerun with pazza notte and i would recommend it to anyone in the area.

Dont go here: Save yourself time & money – Long wait for party of 2 despite open tables, slow service, waited 10 min for water to be poured/menus, horrible service, multiple requests had to be made to even get the waiter over to get something simple like dressing, BATHROOMS had stopped up toilet with items i dont want to write, when I told the manager, he said let me check our other restroom before you go in, and after saying it was ok, in there I found no soap and a fly! Before leaving, the other person in my party went to the restroom and found the bathroom still was not attended to!

Cockraoch dinning next to us – I would like to talk about my experience at Pazza Notte on October 9th 2007. A group of girlfriends and I

chose to eat at Pazza Notte before seeing a play. After being ignored for at least 30 minutes, we flagged down our waitress and placed the order. While waiting to be served, we stopped a waiter to request bread because all the other tables had received a dish upon seating except us. After some time, the entrees were served. They were presented very nicely and looked extremely appetizing but no more then 5 minutes into eating did we spot a cockraoch crawling on the back of the booth. We were forced to squash it the insect on our own because the waitress was no where to be found. we spotted several more raoches crawling from the walls, the seat cushions and the floor. We couldn't even think about finishing our meals and we were disgusted. We stood in the walkway waiting for the manager to walk by. It was at least 15 minutes before being asked if everything was ok. The waitress was mortified by seeing the insects and went to speak to the manager. After speaking with the manager she returned with our check. The manager never came over to speak to us or apologize. I am sorry but 30% off is less than an employee discount. A discount should not be offered to patrons who are disgusted because they couldn't finish their meal due to an insect infestation. Finding this absolutely absurd we had to find that manager ourselves and argue with him about the bill. While doing so, the chef came over to offer us dessert on the house in another booth. How could you expect us to eat dessert when we couldn't even at our meal? The manager told us the best he could do was 50% off and that he couldn't do anything further without speaking to the

owner and if we wanted we could contact the owner ourselves. We went out to dinner in your restaurant in hopes of a great dinner but instead we were treated poorly by the staff and disgusted with the infestation that we left hungry and upset.

the worst dinning experience i have had – are you serious? this place is a dumpster.

the food was not bad, but the service is nonexistent.

My wife and i went there for dinner after we saw there 2 for 1 martinis. they sat us by the door (lots of traffic) and it took them about 15 minutes to recognize us. we put in the drink order and the drink arrive 15 minutes later which by the way were horrible. the martinis were just juice. i mean if i wanted juice i would have ordered juice. the food took another 45 minutes. we looked for the manager and he was nowhere to be found. how can the manager not be available in the middle of dinner rush?

if you wanted to be treated like MUSHROOM, go to Pazza Notte.

That was not all, on the way out we saw A LITTLE GUY running towards the Hostess. we freaked out, but again the manager did not do anything. He humoreously said: " that was not a M**SE, but it was their pet." i could see why, the whole place is so dirty that employees kind of through things like receipts and dirty dishes just anywhere.

We will never go there again. we will tell all our friends about it.

I don't recommand it, stay away from this dumpster otherwise you will get sick.

This place should be closed.

Good idea, badly executed

good not excellent – I was there today and i could not wait to write this review. before we went there, we looked up this place and lots of people said it was great, but after we went there my expectations were not met. However, the food was good and the service was much better than a lot of places in the area. At least the wait staff are attentive. if you are in a rush you should go there. Also if you don't like too much noise don't go there.
