Fantastic Experience – Had a great dinner here last night. Ordered the steamed Thai (chicken) dumplings, duck salad, and soft shell crab entree special, which came with sticky rice. Everything had really intense flavors and interesting textures. Those three dishes, plus one drink each, was plenty for two people and the bill came in under $50. Will definitely return. Kooky bathrooms to boot!
Absolutely Horrible – I ordered from this restaurant for the first time and was very anxious to try the food.
I eat Thai at least once a week and I am always looking for the next best affordable restaurant. The only good thing I can say is my food arrived on time. It was delivered.
I ordered Pad See Eew with Tofu and Peanut Sauce on the side. The noodles had way too much soy sauce, the tofu was overcooked and stiff, almost like rubber. There was a nauseating smell, maybe from the eggs which looked like tiny pieces of fungus covered mushrooms and the peanut sauce had absolutely no peanut flavor, It tasted like curry sauce with a layer of oil floating on top.
I was extremely displeased and will never order from this restaurant again. It was, without a doubt, the worst taste of Thai cuisine I have ever had.
What a waste of a Saturday night. – What a waste. We were running late and I called to move my reservation up a little, the man on the phone was so uncooperative making it sound like there was a line waiting for my table. The place was almost empty when we got there.
The waiter looked and acted like he checked his brain at the door. We waited 30 min for apps which were ok. Then we waited 30 more minutes and he brings us a dessert menu but no main course. We told him that we have not had our main course or soup for that matter yet. He looked at us like we had 5 heads. 30 more minutes finally the soup came along with the not so hot main courses, which were very average.
Has the potential to be great but lacks the front of the house service and attention.
Chic, Good Food, Good service. – Started with a veggie dumpling appetizer ... tasty.
Chicken fried rice is awesome.
Basil Chicken was very good too.
The dishes here are not as oily as one would think.
The place is chic, the music is hot.
Very clean, good service.
Reasonably priced. Very cute place.
gr8! – i have been here many times and the the food has always been excellent. i loved their Dumplings., spring rolls are decent. the curry are exceptional. the place has a cool vibe to it.
Great food, beautiful space – I went to this restaurant with my friends for dinner. Every thing on the menu looks greats but I went for the items I saw on the website. It was so delicious and well presented. Later on we went for a birthday party and still had a great experience. All the drinks on the menu are great and fun! Every one had a great time except there was a small mix up with the birthday cakes but I guess that's ok when everyone is having a great time.
Greatest Thai Food in the city! – Once you've tried this place you will come back for more and more. Their servings are huge for the good price. Loove their presentations of food from their pork or shrimp handrolls in shot glasses to their very presentable entrees. Gotta try their Banana Leaf Pouch Roasted Rice and Sirloin Yellow Curry - a few of our favs their. And for dessert - their mini creme brules are the must-try. Loove the thai iced tea and thai iced coffee. Been coming here a lot and been taking friends that can't get enough of it....do i need to say more?
Good food, but slow service on a slow night? – Went on a Monday night. There were a total of about 8 people in the restaurant. The food was excellent. The chicken appetizer (it's at the top of the menu, can't remember what it's called) was amazing. Drunken Noodles and Curry were on the money as well. But with 8 people in the restaurant, why was out waitress such a flake? We had to flag her down a couple of times to get water. I'd go back, but probably not when it's busy.
The Best Thai food ever!!! Worth to try!! – I walked pass the restaurant by accident. Then my friends and I decided to give it a try. We had Thai food from time to time but once we came to Prem-on, all i can say is the food was awesome. The red snapper and other things on their special menu were very good and worth to try. Atmosphere is very nice and romantic. The music was great and relaxing. I love their ruby mojito drink,...great one. I also tried their Thai handroll. The presentation was very beautiful and staffs were friendly. All of us loved this place and we will definitely come back. I read other reviews and found out that some of them didn't turn out positive. So all i can say is just give it a shot and you'll be able to write another review for this place. But i'm sure you'll love it
Good, reliable Thai – Went here last night for the second time, both times the food has been well-presented and delicious. The atmosphere is trendy without trying too hard. Would recommend this for a casual dinner. I would suggest making reservations as it seemed that walk-ins had to wait a bit.
