Enjoyed the Pizza! – I was staying near by and was looking for a decent place to grab a pizza vs. traditional chain pizza joints.

I started looking at all the different reviews and came across Brooklyn Pizza and Pasta because it was so close.

I was real hesitant because of some of reviews of being delivered late and cold.

I decided to give it a shot. Calling in was a snap, he took my order and I kept it simple.

I was actually really surprised, 30 minutes later delivered right to my hotel door. Pizza was delicious. It was definitely NY style pizza. Thin crust, seem liked it was cooked in a traditional woodburning pizza oven because of the different parts of the pizza that cooked longer. Mozzarella cheese was excellent.

Next time I am back in the area, I would order there again.

Great pizza!!! – I LOVED the pizza! A really thin crust and fresh ingredients make it my favorite by far. I stop in about once a week.

BEST PIZZA! – I had been there before, where I thought the pizza was awazing!(just a few months back) I hadn't returned in a long time, and it was the only place on the street opened on Friday night. They were closing and they allowed me to come in and they didnt rush me in ordering or eatting. I got my pizza in about 10 minutes, and it was even better than when I was there a couple months back! I would highly recommend this place to any good NY pizza lover. In my opinion, BEST PIZZA ON THE WEST COAST!

Waste of Space on West L.A. – What a waste of commercial space in West L.A., unless your looking for a good laugh.

Never did get to try the food, the dirty disheveled wait staff (one very confused young lady) couldn't figure out that the Snapple Iced Tea was in fact Iced Tea because the label reads: "lemon" on the side (!), I was told "we don't have tea, but we do have Snapple Lemon." I asked her to just bring me the Snapple Lemon - it was Iced Tea. The same young lady, when asked if one sauce could be substituted for another over the ravioli, said it just couldn't be done. Only when we asked her three or four times what the logic was behind their inability to pour a different sauce over cooked pasta did she think it might be a good idea to ask her boss "if that can be done," after of course trying to feed us the idea that it couldn't be exchanged because the "sauce is made special." (!) WTF! We left. Just not willing to take the chance that the food was as laughable as the service.

But, we had a good laugh. And the Snapple "lemon" was great.

You're better off with an oven pizza at home... – I have to agree with manhattinitea on this one. Me and a friend happened upon this place last night. We were starving & happened to see this place that advertises itself as the ?best pizza in LA? so we decided to give it a try. Well, I should have known something wasn?t quite right when the place was totally empty & smelled like anything but a pizza parlor when we walked in. Shortly after choosing a table and seating ourselves, our waitress came out to take our order. She was polite enough, but just did not look clean. She was wearing a wrinkled up dingy white t-shirt and a pair of jeans with a belt that was not doing it?s job if you know what I mean. I just wanted to ask her to please pull her pants up every time she turned to walk away I saw more than I wanted to see, sheesh! But I digress? when our long-awaited food finally arrived it was cold, and I thought ?How could this be? We were the only one?s in there and it took 20 minutes to bring it! Why wasn?t it hot & fresh?? There was no cheese to be found on the pizza, when I picked up my slice, all of the toppings came tumbling off because they were not held together by any sauce or cheese. The French fries were horrible ? I mean greasy, and the sauce on top of the fries had a funny taste. Both my friend and I were so disappointed in our meals that we just ate what we could stand to, paid the bill and ended up leaving to find a drive-through Please, save yourself the aggravation, you will be bitterly disappointed at this place!

BEST PIZZA ON THE WEST COAST!!!! – If you are from NY, or happen to be a NY style pizza fan this is the place for you! The decor even looks like you just walked into a NY pizzeria. This pizza happens to be my favorite pizzera and the best i've found in LA.

A Little Slice of Brooklyn... Best Pizza in LA – I and a good friend of mine stumbled upson this place after having just moveds to the Neighbrhood. It was almost closing time but the OWNER who also works the place like any REAL Pizzeria, took our order and stayed to let us leisurely eat . I lived in Brooklyn for 15 yrs before moving here and refuse to east Pizza on the westcoast cause my tastebuds were spoiled by such great Pies on thhe East. The Pie was AMAZING ...Service was friendly and more importantly welcoming .... I haven't tried anything else yet ... but I am looking forward to it !!!!!

East Meets West! - A diamond in the rough. – Being from New York, I tried helplessly to find authentic tasting NY pizza. Feeling despondent, I acidentally stumbled upon this run down display of italian cuisine. Some of the seats break when you sit on them, yet the service from the owner, Real, is charmingly essential New York.

Despite the restaurant's appearance...the pizza is some of the best tasting I've ever had. With each bite, as the cheese slowly cools from its lava-like state, the flavor explodes with depth, salt and amazingness. The cheese is imported directly from NY..and it is unlike anything you can get here in LA. Most trash-pies that pass themselves off as "real NY pizza" are grease-bombs with pre-shredded bag cheese on a flavorless thin crust. If you want real pizza, chewy salty dough with the perfect amount of rich, thick, pizza sauce that tastes nothing of canned tomato paste, with dare I say the best pizza cheese imaginable- Head to Real's.

PS The mozzarella sticks and either the chopped or greek salad make fine appetizers.

Food not even fit for a Rodent--SO TERRIBLE – I had asked about the food and a gruf man grunted a total for the bill which was higher than expected. He said that the prices had gone up since I had received a menu. But, when I asked for a new menu, he said they hadn't been made. (what?!). When I asked about the $3 delivery fee, whether the restaurant took the fee or if the fee went to the driver, the guy (who wound up being the owner) said that it went to the driver, but that the drivers were really nice and that I should tip the guy. Later I find out that THE GUY WHO DELIVERED the pizza WAS THE OWNER--I found this stunt to be a really lame way to get some cash, (FYI: had indeed tipped in addition to the fee). ABOUT THE FOOD: My single topping pizza was colder than ice cubes & there was only 1 1/2 full pepperoini slices (the size of nickels) per pizza slice. The meatball hero I ordered had three meatballs the sized of quarters--and yes, tasted "funny" as the other review states, had a teaspoon of sauce and was not on a roll, but instead on the most disgusting doughy flatbread that made eating copy paper seem appealing. When I asked about the skimpy toppings (which totaled $9 of the bill), I was told that I was lucky to have a pizza like that made for me because all the toppings (including the cheese) gets air shipped from NY daily and that's why it's pricey. Well, believe them, because the food tastes like disgusting cold airline food. The pizza was not carried in an insulated pizza carrier which was why it was so cold. You would think by ripping people, they could buy 1 insulated pizza bag for customers.

Save your money and more importantly save your taste buds and save yourself the aggravation. DO NOT eat here. The food is horrific. I threw all the food out. I couldn't even in good conscious give the food away. They fraudently overcharge & the service is nonexistent. FYI: This place currently has a "D" rating w/ the Better Business Bur (labbb. org). If you want NYC pizza: order from Mulberrys or Johnnies.
