lots of comments. this place have a beautiful design, check it out. it would be nice to see comments posted by patrons and not staff. make up your own mind about this place, just dont buy into the hype.
Excellent. Great service at the bar, not usually the case at most Houston bars....had a great time!
Dig it. I was impressed with the decour, service, atmosphere and all around vibe. Although the clientel has changed and grown from opening night, the misses and I love popping in for a drink to people watch and listen to some great tunes from the live DJ. The non-smoking, no cover idea is great. We love that we can go in with minimal line, easily get a drink and just chill. Then head home with out a headache and not smelling of smoke. The free Champagne and for ladies on Sundays is a nice touch for after brunch as well.
Good lounge. The place had a very nice atmosphere, nice furniture and a large bar. DJ played good tunes and dancing. Lot of room allowed for personal space. Non smoking was key - felt considerably better the next day without the second hand smoke. Check it out.
Not Worth My Time. The place was boring. The only reason the service was average was because nobody was in the place. It is just another copycat club.
Super Place!. Well I arrived in my reptile suit, and they said either untuck your shirt or take off your pants, so, I decided to take off my pants. Great place. I was able to get up on the tables and dance, and this was actually encouraged by the management and DJ Moons. Great place, will keep going and tell all my frat brothers.
This hip but unpretentious Midtown lounge offers fresh-roasted coffee in the morning and wine and drinks by candlelight at night..

A welcome addition to Midtown, DECO opens early as a relaxing coffee shop then transforms each evening into a romantic nightspot. Seating is in a swanky art-deco indoor lounge or on an open-air patio. Whether there for the coffee, tea, wine, or cocktails, patrons appreciate the inviting atmosphere and opportunities to socialize.
Hot Spot in Midtown.
Yesterday was my first day at Deco and certainly will not be my last. The service, atmosphere and drink specials couldn't be any better.
You might want to get there early because the parking lot gets packed.

Dj Johnny. Nice, stylish chill atmosphere when there is not a modeling contest going on. The Dj was striking, the people where eye-catching and it was hard to believe that Deco is a coffee shop during the day. This seems to be the trend nowadays. A normal and tranquil cafe by day and an animated and energetic lounge bar at night. Do dress to impress here especially if you are a female....
Great Martini and No Ashtray residue smell.. Went last week Friday to hear DJ Sun. Great music, Great Vibe. I appreciate the no velvet rope no dress code idea, but I wish that some of the Midtown locals would show a little more self respect. This is a nice lounge not a frat party beach weekend. Other that a few patrons in shorts and plastic flip flops it might be the perfect bar. Smoking is only allowed on patio so bar does not smell like an ashtray. Thumbs up.
