Very good food and ambiance, overpriced – I ate at Bartolotta recently with a large group and had a great table outside next to the lagoon which worked very well. The service was a bit slow - there was a huge lag between courses (even for a "4 star restaurant") but with a group of 9 and a jeroboam of wine that was okay. Most of the appetizers such as the ricotta ravioli, risotto, and lasagnette were top notch but the gnocchi was quite mushy and bland. For main courses, the number of fresh fish options was absolutely amazing and we got one large fish for the table - it was very good but not worth $50 per person. The restaurant talks about everything in milligrams, etc. which may shield the actual price unless you think hard about it - in our case the fish was $6-7 per ounce which is more than I would expect.

Overall, this restaurant has top notch ambiance in the outdoor lagoon and most of the food was excellent, just know that it's not cheap and I would consider my experience to be consistent with a 2.5 or 3 star restaurant rather than 4 it received from AAA. I would certainly consider returning but definitely make a few different menu choices.

Beautiful lagoon and outdoor seating, must make reservations to get good seats – It was a girls night out and we took our time lingering over amazing wine recommendations and food choices. The outdoor booths are lovely for this. Plan ahead with reservations and allow time to relax and enjoy your meal at this wonderful Italian resturaunt.

Deplorable service – My wife ate here last week during our eight day jaunt to vegas. Service was the worst we've seen in years. Un acceptable when you are paying this much for lunch. Food (that we actually recieved) was fine but after sipping on our wine for over 45 minutes after the primi for secondi we threw in the towel. Worst of Vegas skip it.

bartolotta gives alittle – at this to die for asthetically haunt, superficiallity superceeds substance. aqui wheres the beef translates into wheres the fish. simply "less is more" .leave your apetite at home. the octupus although excellent offered five slivers for a hefty 20 bucks. the sea bass whole at $12 for 1000 millligrams must have weighted in at 13,000 milligrams translating into $156.00 for two impish tiny unsubstantial plates of fish sprinkled with slivers of zuchinni and potatoes. and so it goes here. if you just landed your multi million plus bonus or your bosses expenses account has no holds barred this could be the perfect place for you.

Slow Service – My wife and I dined at Bartolotta twice this week for lunch. Returning the second time to enjoy the yummy minestrone soup. My wife ordered the hand rolled pasta while I enjoyed the organic chicken. Both dishes were great.

We found the food to be exceptional. However, service was SLOW! The kitchen is located too far from where most people were sitting leaving the servers walking long distance for anything. Even though several manager types float around, the don't seem to see the time it takes to get service. I hope they figure it out.

Couples congregate at this split-level seafood restaurant with sweeping views of the Wynn lagoon. – In Short
Guests enjoy views of the water and garden from the outdoor patio, while the couple-dominated crowds sit inside the Old-World Italian dining room. Romantic touches include dim lighting, a magnificent winding staircase and sparkling crystal chandeliers. With fish flown in daily from Europe, Bartolotta offers a diverse selection of ocean-fresh seafood. Unique choices are the charcoal grilled gilthead sea bream, spaghetti with spiny lobster, and sauteed striped tiger shrimp.

Disappointing meal – My wife and I recently ate lunch here. Although the food was pretty good, the service was miserable. I can't remember how long we waited for our food. Incredibly the restaurant didn't have more than 30 people eating there that afternoon. I was disappointed as well with the wine list which simply didn't contain the number of choices that I expect from a "top notch" restaurant. Throw in the 'over the top' prices and the overall experience simply isn't worth repeating.

Fresh, good seafood; pricey – Beautiful seafood selection carefully prepared--many flown in from the mediterranean which explains the hefty prices. Portions are certainly sufficient but not gigantic... and so hearty eaters may not be happy. We ate outside by the pond under a canopy. Fairly cool despite 95 F plus temperature. Service got a bit slow towards the end of the meal (not quite up to the price tag of the meal) and we suspected the misting system (essential in Summer) was turned off to hasten our departure for the next sitting.

I will never return to this restaurant. – The service was horrible. Our party of 6 dined here on Sunday night (not crowded). The entire experience was extremely confusing. We had to wait 30 minutes before we received bread or beverage (had to ask). A cart of fish was brought to our table and each identified by name only. We had two servers who were condescending and arrogant. One rushed through his explanation which included milligrams, liters and Sicily. The menu was very eccentric, yet we received no information regarding the fare. We were often ignored. They lost the remainder of our champagne, took our flutes, then found the bottle at the end of the meal. The restaurant was also very bright--not romantic or intimate at all. We were there about 3 hours, and not by choice. We felt very uncomfortable throughout the meal. It was all very odd and unpleasant. Warning: the "soup" is not soup...trust me.
