someone's idea of a club? – i've been going to this venue as its gone through the years & different managements.... only because i really want to see the bands that play here, not because its a great venue. the sound quality is never great. the bathrooms are only half-finished even after all this time. it still looks thrown together haphazardly as a venue. whoever mans the house sound has never learned how to do so correctly; the time it takes for a set change between bands is rediculous. the loveland throws four to six bands on the same bill when no one gives a damn about the crappy local openers.. and with long set changes, no one wants to wait til 1am for the headliners to come on. its disappointing that most people start to leave by then. the doorstaff have been very rude in my experience.... after checking with several different sources before showing up with just enough cash for a ticket (my mistake), i show up at the door to find out its even more to get in than i expected. this has happened to me on more than one occasion. its not even worth $10 to see a show here, i dont know how they think they can charge as much as $20. i've never eaten here; never looked appetizing enough. typical scene-kid crowd, as expected. there's a wall of old school arcade games. no seating (i guess i'm too old) and a low stage so its hard to see. feels more like someone's basement; i never reccomend that my friends' bands book shows here.
Loveland is a joke – I have gone there twice, and on both occasions I was ripped off by the insane cover charges ($20), jipped out of the guestlist even though I was on it, and treated poorly. I called before I went to make sure there was a bar, and I was lied to by an employee just to lure me in to there lame highschool dance party. If you get a chance to visit the highly overratted VIP room, don't be surprised if a security guard that resembles your mom comes to harrass you. Even though you are on the list, have a vip wristband, and have every right to be there...not like it's much of a priveledge anyway. I wasted money and time coming here. This venue is very lame. Everything about this place is lame.
User review by jadzeea – I saw Blindside here in August and I wasn't sure quite what to expect. If you need to use the restrooms try to get there before everyone else! It was a good experience overall and I was thrilled that they have a vegan veggie burger!
