Good Light Desserts – You always have room for these light fruit desserts. The ice cream was icy and you could tell it was made from fresh fruit, but it's ok. Like having all the fruit options! Didn't stay long, but doesn't seem like they let you linger too long.
just like in hong kong – their desserts are very good and taste exactly like what you'll find in hong kong - and most people will give them 90 out of 100 just for that. however, i have been there a dozen times and have always found their service to be brusque. other than that, i agree w all the other reviews and recommend the following desserts: the mango and coconut sago drinks, the black rice pudding, and of course their famous mango mochi - there's really nothing like it in the bay area.
Asian desserts made with hard-to-find imported delicacies on Geary Street. – In Short
A bright red doorway guarded by a giant golden dragon marks the entrance to this surprisingly modern Chinese dessert cafe, with groovy lounge seats and tiny tables and a giant video screen on one wall. Adventures abound for the intrepid sweet tooth, including jelly of boiled bird's nest, turtle shell, and stewed "crystal snow" -- fat from the snow frog, a common Chinese amphibian. Fresh fruits fill the menu, as well as lots of tofu, red beans and glutinous rice balls.
Great Dessert place to hang out – This is a great dessert place which uses fruits on the majority of it's desserts making it very healthy as well. It really kills the competition in quality and value. Now I don't have to go to HK to eat my favorite desserts. But dissapointed that it still doesn't have Kwai Ling Go.
A great dessert house – I love this place. Been here about 10 times and always a great dessert. The food concentrates on mixed fruits and fruit juice. If you are looking for a dessert place in the Richmond, this is it.
Hip New Desserts – Checked out this new place last weekend, had to sign up on a waiting list which I thought was funny cause the place only serves desserts. Me and a friend shared a few items, had the mango mochi which had this fresh mango in the middle, it was awesome and just melted in your mouth and had the mango pudding and sea coconut combo, both were indeed very different in a very good way. No wonder there is a line, this place is worth it! And oh yeah, they have these really cool black and red chairs to sit on.
