“Unique space, great atmosphere”
“The happy hour prices are great ($1 draft Miller Light & Yuengling), and with the bar, patio & lounge area to hang out in, there's something for everyone.”
“Really a great, versatile place.”
“The bartenders were friendly, and during happy hour it is still quiet enough to talk with your friends.”

Runawaaaay!!!.
This place has only cheap drinks, too crowded and the restroon sucks big time.
I will never go this place again ever. Good Luck if you don't get sick!!!
Really bad experience.
I LOVE THIS PLACE. Used to frequent this place every thursday in the summer...great place to play beer pong and cheap beer!
Perfect local hangout. You want to stumble in to a place that has a comfortable feel and has beer pong. well this is the place. I will def be going back. Perfect place to have a few drinks and hang or to begin the night to get a good buzz on.
Run in the opposite direction!. The place serves only one purpose: a cheap drink! I wouldn't go back! Take your party somewhere else.. Its no where to take a date let alone meet a hot chick. I dont know I just wasn't impressed one bit.
Perfect Local Bar. Great place to start the night, happy hours are full. And end it...its open until 4am. The music always changes so if you don't like the mood, wait two minutes. I brought my dog and sat on the patio all summer. Order in wings from next door they are worth it.
hidden gem!.
Great neighborhood bar!
if your sick of joshua tree, 515, mercury bar, tonic (i can't set foot in there), hook and ladder(right next door) or large massive crowds of fratboys and recent grads this place is a diamond in the rough. I'm saying this because I want more ppl who agree with me to check this place out. They have an internet jutebox with a great selection of songs, the price is right, t and the bar or the lounge off to the side are both great.
Rude lady bartender. The blond bartender lady is not very friendly. Never smiles and gets really mad if you don't tip her $2.00 for each dollar beer..like it is the customer fault the beers are $1.00
This place is always dead. I live in this area so I've stopped in a couple and each time there were only a few people there. Really nothing special about it at all, only so-so music, nothing special about the decor. In my opinion there are a lot better bars in MHill than this one - skip it.
Great place to hang out with friends.
I just went to the Underground a few weeks ago and it really is a great neighborhood bar. The bartenders were friendly, and during happy hour it is still quiet enough to talk with your friends. The happy hour prices are great ($1 draft Miller Light & Yuengling), and with the bar, patio & lounge area to hang out in, there's something for everyone.
Plus, there's a big plasma screen TV in the lounge area (which is furnished with tables, banquettes & stools and lots of candles) and 2 TVs outside on the patio. I would highly recommend this neighborhood bar.
Straightforward spot for sports and solitude in Murray Hill..
In Short
In a squat and slanted room below sidewalk level rests this simple, pub-ish bar, where the crucial brews are on tap and the scene is relaxed. A partly neighborhood and young professional crowd congregates before two flat screens above the main bar, while the basic patio out back sports a lone plant and a blow-up bat. A third, classier offshoot room drapes sheer black gauze above lounge seating--a spacious spot for after-work soirees.
