Training with Jason was the best thing that ever happened to me! I worked out for a month during summer and saw changes in my body, got stronger and overall felt better. It's not easy and even though i haven't reached my goals, training with him just motivates me to carry on. Jason thanks to you I will have a new lifestyle and I will train harder. I cant thank you enough! Oh! And I will be back
6 Stars! – I wanted to write a glorious review for Jason, but I would repeat previous reviews. He is awesome! I am so happy that I found a personal trainer who truly cares about my goals and actually carefully watches my progress. I am now a healthier and stronger person, and I look forward to continue working with Jason and his high performance training team.
Jason and James Team – Jason hooked me up, because of scheduling conflicts, with his man James Balazs who is honestly one of the best trainers I have met. I have worked through about 3 trainers and I can honestly say James has by far been the most knowledgeable. He pushes you hard to achieve the goals you want and understands the effects of supplements and diet have on your body. All and all I think the Jason & James team is an excellent place to at the very least try, if not commit.
Get in shape with Jason...he is no joke. – You will absolutely get results working with Jason Kozma. He is no joke. If you don?t get results, there is actually something wrong with you.
I had worked with another personal trainer shortly after I had gotten engaged. After 6 months, I did not achieve the results I was looking for because 1.) I?m the type that needs strict discipline and they were more focused on developing a friendship with me 2.) I did not have a diet plan that complemented my workout regimen.
He did a body fat analysis (monitored every 2-3 weeks), put me on nutritional plan (which he monitors weekly), and a cardio + strengthening regimen. You WILL start seeing a transformation within the first 2 weeks you start working with him. He will make adjustments throughout the process as needed. He is focused on your success, and he will motivate you to achieve your goals.
What I couldn?t achieve in 6 months, I achieved in 10 weeks working with Jason. He brought my body fat down from 21% to 15%. I now fit size 2 clothing & dropped 2 jean sizes. Most importantly, I never felt better and looked great for my wedding day.
Win the Body Battle – When I was 53, I won the Venice Beach body building contest master's division because of Jason. I am a nurse by profession, not some disciplined, driven athlete. His heartfelt encouragement gave me the courage and his training techniques, that were, quite frankly not that difficult gave me THE body! If you do what he says, you will get what you want - plus! Jason really cares about results for you, not so common in the training world I have found. Don't put it off, it is never too late to win the body battle, and with Jason's help it will happen sooner than you think!
Fanatastic system! – Jason's program covers it all: nutrition, cardio, resistance training. The training sessions are super challenging yet fun, the diet spartan (but you aren't hungry) and the cardio actually pretty easy. He sets you up with one of his great trainers ( I trained with Nicholas in Marina del Rey) and keeps an eye on your progress with online and face to face checkups. He really wants you to get the results! (Maybe more than you do...)
Jason's Colleague -- James Balazs – An element of Jason's services that seems underrepresented here is the fact that he offers clients the option of training with his colleagues. In my case, Jason quickly sized up my needs and matched me with James Balazs (pronounced like "ballast" without the "t"), who works out of the Easton Gym on the 3rd Street Promenade in Santa Monica. I've worked out with James for more than a year -- starting at age 53 and 40 pounds overweight -- and with his careful guidance have dropped my BP from dangerous to normal, my body-fat percentage from obese to normal, my weight from 250 to 214, my strength and well-being from lousy to good. James is a knowledgeable trainer, not some rep-counting moron who doesn't understand customizing workouts (of which there are far too many in this field). He's sensitive to clients' changing needs, never appears bored, is extremely attentive to correct form and keeps workouts varied. Plus, he's a genuinely good, honest, funny and communicable guy. Highest recommendation.
Mentalist $ucks! Jason Rocks!!! – Jason's program works only for those who follow it 100%, if you deviate you can only blame yourself if you don't get the results. He is hard working and very motivated to getting you the body you want. He also expects the same motivation from you. Follow his diet and excersie program and you will have a body to be proud of . =)
Best shape I have ever been in – I was a client of Jason's a couple of years ago, and I have never been in such good shape since. My mother is one of those people who repeats things over and over again, and she never stops reminding me of what good shape I used to be in. She keeps saying, remember when you were working out with "that guy,
I couldn't believe you could look like that." Of course since then I have been preoccupied with other things, but if I wanted to get into really good shape again
I would go see Jason. Also, I think that since then my muscle tone and shape is different than before I started training with him. It did change me overall even though I haven't worked out in a while. Anyway, he's a really great trainer, and if you want to get into great shape you can't go wrong with Jason.
Ueber Trainer – I have to echo the plethora of extremely positive reviews posted by others regarding Jason Kozma's knowledge and abilities as a personal trainer. I started training with Jason when he first arrived in California from Tennessee back in the mid-90's. Even then, Jason knew more about weight training, physiology, muscle building, fat loss, and nutrition than anyone I had ever met (of have met since). Jason has built a loyal following of clients who have trained with him for years, who enthusiastically recommend him to friends and family, and who come back to Jason over and over again for one reason -- RESULTS!!! This guy knows how to get you in shape and how to help you maintain a high level of fitness once you get there. That's what it's all about, isn't it? HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! A+++!! (And if that's not enough, Jason is a lot of fun to train with (even while he's kicking your butt!)).
