Rude staff – I went here for New Years eve. It was way overbooked. Couldn't even stand in the rear without getting elbowed in the back. Then the bouncer yelled at me when a beer got knocked out of my hand. Told me to clean it up myself. When I looked puzzled he cursed me out and told me to go ask the bartend for a mop so I could mop it up. In shock I still looked puzzled and he cursed me out more and told me to get the F out if I didn't want to clean it up. So I left rather irritated.
service – I've never been to this place, but i called to see what bands were playing and the girl on the phone was very rude. And she hung up on me!!! So my first impression is that she is a mega bitch and it turned me off of wanting to give them my business
best place to meet unmarried guys of quality who like music – Guys who "get" music hang at High Dive. Another good option for this selection of quality men is across the street at Nectar (so walk across the street and go to both), but I prefer High Dive because it's the same crowd of guys but the set up makes it easier for you to meet them. High Dive attracts more men who come by themself, instead of with a girl or in a group. Therefore, if you like the music loving kind of guy, you need to hang out here to meet him. Go by yourself so he has an opening to talk to you. Sit near the entrance so that he can hear you talk. :)
has potential to be better – they can't seem to attract well known bands here. i have gone and it has been empty...don't know what this is as i really like the staff and stiff drinks. this is a cool place to chill...hope people give it some attention and party there

Fremont gets back to basics with BBQ, cheap beer, and rock and roll. – In Short
Extremely affordable live alternative rock and barbecue combine at this venue on Fremont's main drag. From outside, the club looks tiny, but the long bar leads into a room that holds a couple hundred music fans, where the wide stage and full sound system make it a welcoming venue. The bar food features barbecued baby back ribs and pulled pork that pair naturally with homestyle sides like fried okra and hush puppies.
