This was the best haunt I've been to in a long time. Value, detail of scenes, and overall fright are what made me write this review.

This haunted house was definitely worth the money. I was quite surprised that it was only $15 considering the time it took to go through and the level of detail within the haunt.

I also read some of the other reviews and noted that many were unhappy with the lines. However, I tend to appreciate waiting a bit longer so that I don't have to go through a haunted house with a group of 20 other people. Preserves the experience I think.

Best in TN – I am from chicago so I grew up with some epic haunted houses. I have tried every haunted house w/in a 2hr radius and I have been sorely disappointed, until I found Monster Mountain.

We have made this a family tradition and this will be our 4th year going. The first year 2 of our kids pee'd their pants they were so scared, haha. Ok, maybe not cool but it was funny :)

$15, almost a full hour of entertaining cool and scary things to do... best of all dance with the Devil on a tripped out dance floor!!

These pple deffinately give you your moneys worth... I dunno wtf these naysayer's are smoking to say it sucks. Must be local jealous competition (yes they do that) and they also will post rave reviews for themselves.

decent but didnt live up to the hype – Heard the radio commercials about the vampires and seekers so thought it would be good this year. Well we went and it was ok but i didnt see one vampire not really that scary either. Its ok but not the best

long line – The creaters of Monster Mountain put a lot of hard work into it. It was nice that it was outside and had a lot's of cool feature's that you can smell and fell. I do not get scared at haunted houses, unless they are real, but I do respect the hard work they put into it.

However, it is not worth the 2 and a half hours of standing in line. You can pay $30.00 for the "express" tickets, but that is insane! (It also what makes the line longer) I would recommend asking how long the line is before you purchase your tickets. After getting your tickets, there is not leaving after standing in line forever. I would recommend going if you have a lot of time to stand in line. Get there when they open!

A must see this year – WOW This place was awesome. Went this past Saturday and it was of the hook. Lot's great scares and plenty of awesome actors. I won't give away any details of the scenes but this is a must see this year. Very detailed.

monster mountain dont bother – Are there any good haunted house in TN? For the good the size of this place is incredible. it really is a mountain so wear hiking boots you will get exercise. Now for the bad there is no theme what so ever. It seems like they took every redneck stereotype made a scene for it and put someone with zero acting experience in it to say boo and get out of my house. Very few actors for the space they occupy. would recommend haunted nashville before going back there again. Also very hard to find. When you finally do find it hope it doesn't rain cause its outside. You will get wet and muddy. Very unimpressive. I thought the other reviews for them were way off then i saw the date posted on them 3 years ago why are they still up? it is a complete waste of gas, time, and money.

Best Haunted House in my LIFE – I cannot give this place enough praise. The line took about 30-45 minutes to get through, but that was about the same to all the haunted houses I went to and it was totally worth it! This was possibly the best haunted house I have been to in my life, and they said that they are improving it every year. The wide variety of "rooms" also helped add to the experience and keep you guessing, whereas other generic haunted houses have pretty much the same setting all the way through.

The props were extremely realistic, and without giving too much away there is REAL fire and really shocking moments... If you bring your little kids here make sure they know what they're in for! You will be crawling several times through narrow tunnels (4 I think), and go through some very thin passages, so I wouldn't recommend it if you are chlostrophobic(sp?)

The video they show you at the beginning is neat and gives some backstory into the experience.

The other haunted house I went to this year was Slaughterhouse in downtown Nashville and you can't even compare the two. This one was infinitely better and I will definitely be going back next year.

The only problem I had was the fact that there were several open areas of woods during the whole experience where it got kind of confusing as to where to go next.

The BEST in middle TN!! – The place was GREAT!! Totally worth the $12 admission! This was not the typical scene after scene of gore and guts haunted house. They included fears that most of us have hidden deep inside; b u g s, swinging bridges, clowns, tight squeezes, burning houses, total darkness, backhoes (lol). Be prepared to ?HIKE and get down and dirty? bc it is truly on the side of a mountain. We will defiantly be there next year with a car load!!

MONSTER MOUNTAIN HAS GOT TO BE #1 IN THE COUNTRY! – Oh my God, where to begin? First off, the ONLY thing wrong with this place is the long line. The line is long because THOUSANDS of people go to Monster Mountain, but it's awesome because the people are all in good mood. Everything about Monster Mountain this year is by far better than anything else in TN or even KY. Personally, I haven't been to any in KY, but my family there says they don't compare to The Legend of Cavern Hills. I recommend the VIP tickets. Nothing like it in TN. The movie you watch about Monster Mountain really gets you pumped up for a great scare. Even when you think that an actor isn't that scary, just look around and you'll see the value of your dollar. The operators of Monster Mountain have made sure that you will not leave there without your money's worth with elaborate details into every scene. When you meet the Mayor, he'll pretty much set the mood and it's non-stop until the end. Even the drive to the Mountain is scary because you're going through the backwoods of Middle TN. If your expecting this haunted attraction to be like all the others around, think again, because Monster Mountain uses NO OVERDONE MOVIE MONSTERS. No guys in just a mask and their t-shirts either. What they do is play to your REAL fears: darkness, heights, small places, the screams of torture that make you wonder just how intense is this place going to get? I could talk about this place all day, but you have to see it to believe it. My personal favorites were the clowns, the cannibal kitchen and the chick selling T-shirts! =) I hope everyone who Goes through Monster Mountain will write a review and vote for this place, because it beats the hell out of anywhere else you're likely to go. Save your gas and just use the money that you were going to use on the "other guys" and just come see The Legend of Cavern Hills again. It won't be the same twice and YOU WILL BE AMAZED!

Pros: REALISTIC TERROR!

Cons: No severed head of Michael Myers. That would ROCK!!!!

Best Haunted House Anywhere!!!!! – the best haunted house I've ever been to. I've been going since I was 5 and so that means this one is good. Price is well worth it, but be sure to go the VIP route its better that way
