The general manager at the Brier Creek has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. The server tried to make up for the lousy way in which the manager treated us but unfortunately the manager has the last say and insisted the server overcharge us. Gregory was so apologetic that I still tipped him however the manager, Brian, has lost a good customer.
YUCK. – please don't be the new corporate push disaster...
been plenty of times before, nothing great although decent bar food. but this last time the food quality was unbearable. everything has changed... the queso, salsa, meat, cheeses... all tasted worse than awful. the fajita steak was by far the worst and it was light and white-ish in color! the prices keep going up however the quality straight out the window. my suggestion: keep the quality as high as possible, cut down on the portion size if anything. i'd rather be able to keep it down!
good food, good service, too loud & crowded – Very good (not excellent) food for a chain, good service, but always too loud and crowded. When we bring groups, they squish us in so much where there's 4 people to a tiny table for one.
They still make the southwest chicken sandwich... – Just ask them to make it, even though it's not on the menu, they still will...
Needs to improve food consistency – Compared to other restaurants at Brier Creek, this Chili's is hit or miss in the food department. Although I've visited before and had some decent ribs, this time I had a burger that was burnt and extremely overdone. Also, in the winter, it is rather silly for one of the hostesses to prop open the inner door constantly, letting in cold air to the bar area and hitting the backs of the people waiting for a table. Some of the other customers complained that it was cold and nothing was done about it.
Another good eatery going downhill fast!! – Ice tea is like water, water is like a chlorine over-dose, prices have gone up and quality has gone down. Ordered a steak and a pasta dish for us, the steak was way over done (as in need your shoes resoled) and the pasta was somewhere west of "what was this supposed to be".. Both were also cold when served and the appetiser came out about 5 minutes after the meal, also cold...all said, we waited about 15 minutes to get drinks about 35 40 minutes for the food, which would not have been terrible had it been good food....scratch another off the list...

lipstick on my wine glass, slow service – slow, poor service- there was lipstick on my wine glass and the manager was not very curteous. the food was standard.
Many restaurants don't offer reservations. – This is in response to the previous review about restaurants not taking reservations. You will be hard-pressed to find many restaurants that offer reservations. Usually only high-dollar restaurants ('fancy') take reservations (Angus Barn, Ruth's Chris, Magiannos). Many family-style, casual restaurants, do not. So I take it that you don't eat out much when there is a wait. Personally, if the wait is more than 15 minutes, I leave, to come back another day.
Reservations at casual dining restaurants are usually not offered because many people don't show up, leaving the table empty, and the server not making money.
Chili's takes call ahead seating, which is NOT a reservation, but does allow you to be put on the wait list, thereby shortening your wait. Also, the buzzers were unfortunately broken on the night I visited and I was told that Chili's does not utilize an intercom system anymore. Call the corporate office and offer the suggestion, if you think it'll help. Most companies want/need feedback to help improve things. The host/managers could have done more to ensure you were sat as soon as possible; however, those who were sat before you could have been on the 'call-ahead' list and were actually before you....
No problems except for reservations! – I am very sick of places that will not take reservations. Chili's refuses to do so. So when you arrive, you are often stuck waiting in line. This represents a complete disregard for Customer service. It must be nice to have so much business that you can decide you want to tick off the 15% of the people you keep waiting. Despite this we entered and tried to get on the waiting list, they took our name but didn't even use their established electronic pager system. When I said how will they let us know when it's ready, they said we'll remember you and call your name. Not over the loudspeaker mind you, but a girl speaking into the waiting area in a speaking voice. I pointed out that we would wait in the bar. The said they would find us, but seated 5 groups who came in after us prior to us. Finally I went back up made them seat us. Wait staff, food, etc were great! But the night was alreay ruined. Because of laziness and lack of caring. Chili's, listen to your customers!
